I2a-Din came to the Balkans and Dinaric Alps with the Thracians, Dacians & Illyrians

We simply don't know. We need some Dacian samples from the Classical Antiquity period. Not to mention that Dacians were primarily residing in Transylvania, while Wallachia was primarily settled by Getae and Moldova by Carpi. There were a lot of smaller tribes and we don't know if they were...

    Kindle or paper books?

I switched to Kindle around 5 years ago. Though by Kindle, I mean a proper ink-screen Kindle device, not the phone app. That's what I use for most books that don't have a lot of images. For technical books, which usually rely a lot on images, I stick with the computer screen, but I tend to...

I2a-Din came to the Balkans and Dinaric Alps with the Thracians, Dacians & Illyrians

Nothing's "Dacian" about the Romanian subclade of I2. Anyway, my answer's here: http://www.eupedia.com/forum/threads/34214-I2a-Slavic-(former-I2a-Din)-as-a-slavic-marker-present-in-non-slavic-populations?p=516824&viewfull=1#post516824

I2a-Slavic (former I2a-Din) as a slavic marker present in non-slavic populations

At least in Romania, I2a1b most likely indicates an initial Slavic lineage since R1a alone simply cannot amount for all the Slavic input on Romania and Romanians. The degree of Slavic input can be seen by evaluating two dimensions: place names/toponyms and the language. 1) Place names/toponyms...

    Trip to Bulagria

Just avoid touristy places for the best experience. This should apply to most countries in Europe.

WE wuz the elite rulers of the ancient Greeks, Boris. Come on, that's just larping at this point. The authors have clearly stated that the Armenoi sample has a low quality. Another view of "steppe" ancestry-Pagani et al

So ~50% of probably Slavic-like Y-DNA lineages is not enough now? If Romanians weren't mixed with Slavs, they'd probably plot with other proto-Balkanic people who were relatively shielded from the Slavic migrations in the Balkans, like Greeks and Albanians. Instead, they form a cluster with the...

K36 Post your "genetically predicted place of origin" (based on Eurogenes K36 results)

I did and I ended up in Mehedinti county, whereas my ancesrty is from Iasi county. That's around 460km apart, which is quite far IMO. It definitely needs some calibration for Southeast Europe, i.e. Greeks end up in the sea, Albanians probably too and Bulgarians would plot South in Greece...
