Yeah that's true, some American towns and cities are unwalkable, as if pedestrians are not even remotely considered. :confused:
New York and San Francisco are fine, Los Angeles too except for the large distances. Suburbs in California generally have sidewalks though
Urban American roads also seem more crowded with more drivers commuting, often long distances.
Fuel is much less expensive too and most people own and rely on vehicles.
