Why they mate with everybody I dont know. Usually it means Males moving to new land. Why they left I also dont know. But I do know that there was a "war" between 3300-2800BC in Iberia, because there is no other reason to build from the start those fortified settlements and invest for so long in...

Having an L151 in Iberia (close to Iberia), with no steppe and high WHG and CHG is my holy grail. It needs to be if you are a Shulaverian. What was remarkable about BB in Portugal, for instance in Leceia fortress, is that the BB huts remained BB for over 200 years and huts hundreds of meters...

    Leaked Uniparental Marker Data

Regretfully, regarding Portugal all we can get is samples from people thrown into caves, buried in caves, not related to archeological places that are known, such as the ones related to Bell beakers or places such as VNSP and zambujal. Good news are that new samples from places like perdigões...

The spread of 'Steppe' DNA and autosomal best-fit analysis

Yes. The 12% of Portuguese that are M269 x p312 is absolute. Because relative to only the r1bs existing in Portugal would be something like 20%. So, how it looks relatively compare to the others.. . Will run it tomorrow.

The spread of 'Steppe' DNA and autosomal best-fit analysis

Ok. Really interesting. Sole-Morata et al 2017 shows something that is awkward for a east to west entry of R1b to the region of Bell beakers, Portugal. Like in the Map of L51 you have shown, Portuguese people today have a level of M269 XP312 that is not at all "Iberian" but similar to levels...

That is what I don't get. How he made it using meyers et al? Can you re do it using that paper? It looks like he used Solé-Morata et al 2017. If so he just used the percentages identified as M269 (xp312) to build the map.

Hi Berun... and I thought the tricky was well played to me. I really do. :) I just posted first innocuously and Richard Rocca comes and is disrespectful, aggressive and even obnoxious. I didn't even respond in kind (I would though next) but challenge him ... and got immediately banned by...
