Thank you Stuvanè. Mine are pretty similar.
I don't think that the Iron Age ones are too bad, actually, maybe a bit compressed but a good synthesis of northern italian.
Probably in a 2 way model the early italic, etruscan and germanic are all lumped in continental celtic and the greek and...
Where have you got this information from? From what i know the steppe level in the north and even center are actually higher than the IA latins and italics, while the WHG makes the real difference.
It is an interesting question, and the reason is probably imperial age admixture followed by...
Similar proportion of component, high farmer (around 60%) and moderate steppe (30-35%) with low WHG. There may be some genuine balkan influence in northern italy but as pointed out we can only make conjectures until we got iron and bronze age samples from N. italy.
@Pax Augusta
I agree that northern italy has great genetic differences, already present in the past, given the geographic conformation and its crossroad position. I think that we can assime that the study samples has been taken from the plain part, around big cities like Torino, Milano...
Thank you for sharing this! Do you know when they will be published?I'm so happy that we finally got a study about northern Italy.

I...

Segment threshold size will be adjusted dynamically between 200 and 400 SNPs
Minimum segment cM to be included...

0.002 with g25= 2.000 with k12 so they are all around 3-4.
I do not have an opinion on the creator of g25 coordinates and i don't know how good they are, but it seems that the general consensus on them is favorable.
I just see them as a tool and they seems to give coherent results. Anyway they...
