Genetic study Until death do us part

Problem solved! My antivirus mistakenly removed an .exe in the WGSExtract program, making the error message appear. Over the next weeks i will slowly convert more files. Here is another one, with higher coverage. https://jumpshare.com/v/awnqLMmXcjZnuCzxWGA5...

Genetic study Until death do us part

I managed to convert 2 of the BAM files to 23andme raw data format using WGSExtract. Unfortunately after i restarted the PC today, for some reason the program does not work anymore. it keeps saying "INVALID HEADER" when selecting the BAM files. i even tried to re-download them. If someone wants...

G25 G25 Big Bronze Age and Iron Age List

Using merged raw data should provide higher accuracy because the number of Snp is higher. Averaging your 2 coordinates won't necessarily give you more accurate results. Anyway if you want you can calculate the average on this site: https://dna-tools.xyz/

G25 G25 Big Bronze Age and Iron Age List

No, i merged the raw data from myheritage, 23andme and Ancestry in a single file using this software https://www.dnagenics.com/dna-kit-studio/ it is free and it doesn't even require installation. Then i uploaded the merged raw data to illustrativeDna.

Thank you Stuvanè. Mine are pretty similar. I don't think that the Iron Age ones are too bad, actually, maybe a bit compressed but a good synthesis of northern italian. Probably in a 2 way model the early italic, etruscan and germanic are all lumped in continental celtic and the greek and...

Ancestry and kinship in a Late Antiquity-Early Middle Ages cemetery in the EasternItalian Alps

Where have you got this information from? From what i know the steppe level in the north and even center are actually higher than the IA latins and italics, while the WHG makes the real difference. It is an interesting question, and the reason is probably imperial age admixture followed by...

Ancestry and kinship in a Late Antiquity-Early Middle Ages cemetery in the EasternItalian Alps

Similar proportion of component, high farmer (around 60%) and moderate steppe (30-35%) with low WHG. There may be some genuine balkan influence in northern italy but as pointed out we can only make conjectures until we got iron and bronze age samples from N. italy.

Genetic study The Genetic Legacy of the Roman Imperial Rule in northern Italy

@Pax Augusta I agree that northern italy has great genetic differences, already present in the past, given the geographic conformation and its crossroad position. I think that we can assime that the study samples has been taken from the plain part, around big cities like Torino, Milano...

Merry christmas to everyone! Last year i took the myheritage as my first test, this year i bought a 23andme kit. The results came today! They are pretty standard for a north italian. My ydna turned out to be a r1b-u152, pretty similar as the predicted, and i discovered also my mtdna H1. I...
