I have used FTDNA before and recently got my 23andme results too. Up until this point everything makes sense, I seem to be more or less your typical Greek Mediterranean.
FTDNA: 97% Mediterranean and the remaining 3% from here and there.

A new faculty of Ancient DNA Studies has been established at the Institite of Molecular Biology and Biotechnology of the University of Crete.
It will be the first in Greece and the 3rd in Europe. Hopefully we can expect new publications from ancient samples from Greece in the near future.
