    Y-dna and Assault

Content Warning: Discussion may include harsh topics I wonder if there are any Y-dna haplogroups whose main vector of transmission is via assault. Such Y-chomosomes would contain mutations that impair psychological development, making it so the carrier doesn't develop a...

Did ancient South Indians used to have curly hair?

It's just a thought that occured to me. The native Australians and Melanesians have curly hair; their copy of Trichohyalin remained relatively unmutated since they left Africa. Also, there are islanders in the Indian Ocean that have curly hair, such as the Setinelese. Could it be that many...

    Female Infertility

Are there any genetic mutations known to cause female infertility. All of the women in my paternal line, going back many generations, were infertile. Has anyone ever heard of such a case before? Where can that infertility mutation that affects only women, and is somehow passed to every son and...

I'm still puzzled about which racial morphology this guy fits within.

Aldabert Lallier has a very unique face. I have never seen others that resemble him. My guess is that he has a deactivating mutation on a gene associated with ocular skull developement in the early fetal stage. Here are photos of this Austrian guy of unknown racial morphology.

Why does almost everyone here a Y-chromosome.

Why does everybody here that I see have their MtDNA listed, also have their Y-dna listed. Does nearly everyone here have a Y-chromosome, or do they just fill in their favorite Y-dna haplogroup to look cool? Is this a true representation of the lack of females interested in anthropology and...

    I'm Famous!

So, I was looking through the "Famous people's Y-DNA" page on Eupedia, and I noticed that my family was on there, under J1. I'm not trying to brag, but do you know what this means. My family is so relevant that they are listed on the page with only the most famous people who have their DNA...
