Hello, as my father is passed away I have phased a kit for him from between myself and my mother on gedmatch. How well do these work for putting his phased kit into the various ethnicity calculators? Thanks for your input.

My raw data upload finished to My Heritage and I just want to say that their software for checking your DNA matches is the best one of any I've used. ( Ancestry, 23 and me, Family Tree).

Can someone give a brief description of what each different model is for? Do the titles like k9,k12,k15 correspond to 9,000yrs ago 12,000years ago 15,000 years ago? Is each calculator supposed to give us a description of our dna at those points in history?

I think my matches on Ged are very scant. The one that matches me the most is only 35.9 total cm's. Pretty normal or not?:thinking:

I have been assigned H1c at 23 and me. I uploaded my raw data to James Lick's Calculator and it does not give me a perfect fit for any subclade.
