Hello everyone!
Any possible theories for the migration path of Y-DNA "T" to the British Isles?
0.5% in England and even less in Ireland (Co. Carlow in my case) where my paternal line ended up.
Is it possible that it could have been just one person that introduced T to Britain and Ireland...
Jovialis,
I have considered this quote from Eupedia as a possibility:
"Autosomal DNA tests have also identified unusually high percentages of Southwest Asian admixtures among the Finns (1 to 2.5%) and Lithuanians (1.5%), who otherwise lack West Asian or Caucasian admixture and possess hardly...
This is probably something along the lines you were suggesting, Jovialis.

Jovialis,
A little background on why I made that post:
My Y-DNA haplogroup is T and was a bit surprised that mytrueancestry.com did not show anything for me on either immediate side of the Mediterranean.
Dodecad V3 showed what I thought my paternal haplogroup's contribution would show in the...
Hi Salento,
It appears our Ancestors split pretty early on if mytrueancestry.com is not able to show any trace of me any further south than Nordic Lombard (670 AD) or Scythian Moldova (290 BC). I wonder what period of time that would work out to be?
I'm trying to post my Timeline....it's...
Y-DNA: T-CTS11984
MtDNA: U6a1a
I was expecting more results on both sides of the Mediterranean considering my paternal haplogroup T.
Anybody have any thoughts?

Thank you, matty74, for your post that explained how I can post my graphics for others to see!
I am a T-CTS11984. Positive for CTS8489 but negative for CTS8862.
How are all of you posting your maps from mytrueancestry.com?
When I try to copy and paste it only shows the url here.
Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated.
FTDNA has determined my Y-DNA haplogroup to be T-CTS11984. They have also determined that I am positive for CTS8489 but negative for CTS8862.
Can anyone recommend any additional SNPs I should be tested for to help explain this...and help grow my haplotree, as well?
