Where does the Albanian language come from? [VIDEO]

I know a bit about the diversity in Bulgarians and Greeks, no way that's recent. Its very old with the exception of the clearly Albanian related lineages, which are not the majority, however, but only a minority.

So where is it? EV-13 literally shows up in 1 site in Eastern Bulgaria in 800 BC, and they're all probably cousins or some shit.

Everywhere else, even in recent times, it almost non-existent: Albania, Greece, Serbia, Romania.

It's like people don't want to admit founder effects exist.... J2B2 itself was also clearly a founder effect, just way back in the past.

Other things I got right

R-Y14088 from Bezdanjaca
R-Y4355 from N.Croatia , same site as V13 sample

I noticed years ago multiple clusters of unrelated R-Y4355 around Balkans. One in Vlach Herzegovina clan I studied. Another in Bulgaria, another in Greece, and another in Romania. So I always maintained this clade was local and not Celtic. Now as I predicted it is Urnfield, and Illyrian related significantly. As predicted by me and some people from poreklo, Urnfield Illyrians had lots of R-L2. R-Y4355 is found in Herzegovina Vlach tribes of Ugarci and Zotovići, mentioned in 14th century. The latter have Albanian etymology, though I haven't seen this clade in Albania, there is one anonymous sample from Montenegro also belonging to it so they at least might have been based there in earlier times.

Also I-P78 from Bosnia. Not sure about its age, could be BA or Eneolithic even.

I-P78 today has multiple (mostly West) Balkan lineages, and one P78 was found in Daunians, though not sure it if was confirmed 100 %, I just found one mutation under P78 as +. It was always obvious that M223 under L701 is not Germanic related.

Lol, another troll trying to wipe R1b under the rug. R1b was the most common Y-DNA in these studies

R1b/J2b were the pillars of both Illyrians/Albanians.
R1b-L2 or 51+ lineages which Riverman meant and I addressed are insignificant/ non existent in modern Albanians you genius. And they don't represent the Illyrian core.

I saw these affiliations coming hence why I made that comment yesterday. We also have a nice example in Novo Mesto EIA Slovenia. Did the J2b-L283 and R1b-L2 in that area have the same auDNA? Nope. Not at all.

The L51 in Cinamak may actually be a Urnfielder remnant. He is there in the same site along with 3 L283 (one Y21878 from the same era, that was also found in Iron Age Iapygians too), 1 CTS9219 and 2 M269 (we will see what they are when BAMs are published).

They don't even make up 1% of the parental lines of modern Albanians. Sure every haplogroup on this earth is Albanian in origin. AlBaNiAnS ar PeLaSgIaNs

What a lame attempt to try straw manning me because I exposed you :LOL::LOL:

I didn't say they were Albanian in origin. Simply that they existed in them. It doesn't matter what the %. What matters if they exist or not.

The only place with >1 sample of EV-13 is Kapitan-whatever in Bulgaria. This seems to be in Eastern Bulgaria too close to Greece/Turkey. It could just be that they're all related since they're from the same spot. But I wouldn't be surprised if a number of these were spread with Roman Imperial admixture. I wouldn't say all because Croatia/Macedonia had 1 each early on, so clearly this was pan-Balkan, just small in admixture.

But even in Greeks EV-13 was non-existent until recently. We're talking Medieval/Ottoman times here. It clearly experienced a founder effect, the highest of which was northeastern Albanian parts. That other study showed the same thing.

I just went through the Albanian data, geography is key. Korca region is Albanian with strong Slavic and some Greek mixture. It entered the Albanian sphere in the late 1300s. Kukes region where lots of these samples are from(the sample site super close to the Kosovo border) did not become an Albanian area until the 1600-1700s period. It was Slavic before and today it is dominated by R1b clans and J2b clans.
All these "medieval" and post-medievial R1b and J2b are from a region that today is R1b and J2b (Kukes). There is even one I2 sample, which is probably assimilated Slav, this region once had strong Slavic presence, still does on the Shar mountains(google Gorani). One of the female samples even clusters with Macedonians.

In Korca we have one J2a(assimilated Greek) and one R1b, Korca is one of the regions with least E-V13 in Albania. Same applies to Kukes, where J2b and R1b are the top lineages.

The only Ottoman sample in central Albania which is R1b has Vlach autosomal DNA, and clusters with Bulgarians and Romanians.

Geography and context matters, don't expect an honest approach from that individual. Mentally un-European, vulgar manners, low IQ.

It is not about the where, but who. And this is about the Thracian language group. Once we get Basarabi and Babadag sampled, you will see.

Also, what Serbian and Romanian samples are you talking about? Which of these samples are relevant? Time, culture, place? Its not about countries. Modern countries oftentimes regions which were not always united. Take Romania for example, it didn't exist in its current borders before 1918, not even close. Or Serbia: Serbia can be divided in different regions which being also united rather recently.

This is the Channelled Ware zone without its fringes:
Distribution-map-of-channelled-pottery-groups-with-the-most-important-sites-mentioned-in.png

How many relevant samples do we got from the Iron Age? None, but those from Psenichevo, which came from Danubian Fluted Ware.

Vulgar manners is a polite way to put it. Considering his way of addressing people.

Mount/Hawk. This is who you're defending. Keep at it with your disgusting garbage.

"Steppe pastoralists of the Yamnaya culture initiated a chain of migrations linking Europe in the west to China and India in theEast. Some people across the Balkans (about 5000 to 4500 years ago) traced almost all their genes to this expansion. Steppe migrants soon admixed with locals, creating a tapestry of diverse ancestry from which speakers of the Greek, Paleo-Balkan, and Albanian languages arose.

The present study adds further support to the theory by the discovery of ubiquitous ancestry from the steppe in the Bronze Age Balkans [where, indubitably, Indo-European Paleo-Balkan languages such as Thracian and Illyrian (41) were spoken, including individuals of predominantly steppe ancestry; by documenting the ubiquity of steppe ancestry inBronze and Iron Age Armenia where Armenians first attested and links between Armenia, the steppe, and the Balkans; and by the fur-ther documentation of steppe ancestry in the Aegean (6) during the Mycenaean period when the Greek language is first attested, albeit at lower levels. All ancient and present-day branches of the Indo-European language family can be derived or at least linked to the early Bronze Age Yamnaya pastoralists of the steppe or genetically similar populations."

Its really astounding how many birds one can kill with one stone. Some abstract thinking required to connect the dots.
As for the amoebas pretending Kukes area is not core Albanian/Illyrian territory after archeological, genetic (both unipaternal and autosomal) links, I suggest seeking medical help (although fine by me if you suffer out of spite).

Nah. Korce is full of gypsies, while Kukes was Slavic 300 years ago.

Interesting comment. Earliest IE into Albania was almost pure M269/Yamnaya.

"EHG ancestry becomes ubiquitous after this time and reaches up to 35±3% in an outlierindividual (I14689) from Çinamak; such high levels of EHG ancestry are of course not unheardof in mainland Europe as they were found in individuals of the Corded Ware culture(8). Thisindividual, the earliest known one with EHG ancestry from the western Balkans dates to thesame period (2831-2480 calBCE)."

I14689-2555ALB_Çinamak_EBAÇinamak (Norteastern, Kukes District)Albania42,02055620,38861148,90%R-M269H102

I don't get how they group Albanian and Greek together linguistically after this. Earliest Albanian intrusion were clearly different people.

And as for Corded Ware, Albanian clearly has some early CW-related Y-DNA. It might have been an early offshoot, but we don't know when.

The paper's authors outright state Albanians are descended from Illyrians, but this autosomal argument ignores the Roman Imperial/Slavic migrations which definitely made more than a dent.

"Other than these outliers, the population of Albania from the Middle Bronze Age to thepost-medieval period appears to be largely made up of the same components in similarproportions: Anatolian Neolithic (~1/2), CHG (~1/5-1/4), and EHG (~10-15%) ancestry"

Illyrians clearly a MBA people coinciding with the J2B2 arrival.

There is no R1b in Montenegro, keep it up with those mental gymnastics. Muh core Illyrian.

Wth are you going on about? All the Illyrian Montenegro samples are from 1 location. There is plenty of R1b in Croatia. Only difference between Croatia/Albania is different % frequencies in the clades of R1b/J2B2.

(Albanians have more basal clades of R1b, while Croatians have more basal clades of J2B2).
