Songs in Italian

This a funny song/animated video with Mina e Celentano, I believe is a mix of Italian and a dialect from Foggia.
“Che t'aggia di?”

:LOL::LOL::LOL::LOL::LOL: :LOL:

I don't understand all of it, but most of it. Mina did pretty well, I think. Amazing how they got his animated character to look so much like him. Very funny.

I have to say this is more my style, though. :)

Btw, I should have used your answer instead.

It's strange.

Enrico Nigiotti same song in another video. Is this working?

Yes, it does. This happens to me a lot if I'm using a playlist type of post on youtube. Some play and some say it's blocked. Then if I search for the song individually it almost always works. I don't know why it happens, but it does. Dumb.

Thank God for me, Italy still produces songs like this too, and they're playing on the top 40 type stations I listen to. :) Giorgia and Marco Mengoni...Come Neve

Giorgia is from Rome, Marco Mengoni is from Viterbo, they both are very popular in Italy. Salmo is Sardinian, Enrico Nigiotti and Jovanotti (Lorenzo Cherubini) both are Tuscan (Livorno and Cortona), Cesare Cremonini is from Bologna (Emilia). When they all speak their accents are easy to recognize. I think there is no Ligurian in the current Top 50. : )

Marco Mengoni - L'essenziale. This song won the Sanremo Music Festival 2013.

Awwwww man, did you really have to be that harsh?

Songs being blocked stems from the artist not wanting his/her material freely available on YouTube, which would give incentive to purchase the album. YouTube seriously needs to fix this issue and I have no idea why they missed this.

An song by the arbereshe/albanians of Italy. It is not sung in italian, but you can feel the italian influence when listening to the instruments.

You mean the less harsh version?(y)

Marco Mengoni - L'essenziale. This song won the Sanremo Music Festival 2013.

Love it and him. I've posted a lot of music by him and Giorgia and Elisa and Gianna Nannini, and Laura Pausini, among others, upthread. I've also posted some Noemi, and Fiorella Mannoia, and even some Jovanotti. I told you, I keep up as much as I can, but I only post the things I like. Oh, I also like Biagio Antonacci, and Lucio Dalla, and Baglioni, and Umberto Tozzi and Rino Gaetano and DeGregori and on and on. They're all on this thread.

As to your prior post, what indeed would Italian music be without Emilians and Tuscans???

What indeed, also, without Ligurians, although they haven't been very active lately. I've posted a lot of Fabrizio De Andre, who I listen to all the time, and some Ivano Fossati...

First one I've heard before...other than a sentence or two I have no idea what they're talking about. I have to look up a translation into Italian. I get the "drift", though.

I was obsessed with this song for a long time.

It’s a very popular song. It’s always playing on some radio station as you drive around Italy.

You're not Mediterranean if you don't FEEL this song.
