Another shocking news in relation to Muslims living in Europe : L'Echo : Des allocations belges alimentent le terrorisme (Belgian social security allowances fund terrorism)

In short it says that Belgian DA offices (Prosecution Service) have started investigating 19 cases of alleged funding of terrorism from Belgium. At least 6 million € have been identified as coming the Belgian social security. Most of it was laundered via phone shops (using Western Union, I suppose) as well as through drug and human trafficking.

Belgium has long been known as a paradise for social security, possibly the best country in the world, ahead of France. It is the only country where one can be on the dole forever. The dole is only for Belgian nationals, but in effect a relatively high percentage are non-European immigrants (mostly Africans) who have been naturalised. For others, there is the CPAS (centre public d'action social ; OCMW in Dutch), which also gives generous "loans" to people who do not qualify for the dole (the rest of the immigrants). Those who get money from the CPAS only have to give back the money once they have a job that allow them to pay for all their needs and save money. Needless to say that the majority never pays back anything. It's just a disguised charity towards Third World immigrants. It's like a huge sign saying "Come to Belgium, we will give you money for the rest of your life and you never have to work or pay anything back ! No kidding, and you don't even have to vote for us !"

6 million euro doesn't seem like much, but the average annual income of people living on the social security (CPAS being lower than the dole, and single people getting less than families) is 6000 euro, although it is lower for non-Belgians. In other words, there is a strict minimum of 1,000 Muslim immigrants in Belgium who use and abuse of the system to fund terrorism.

However that would presuppose that they give all their livelihood income to terrorist organisations. Unless they actually have a job and are illegally receiving government aid, I don't see how they could save more than 5 or 10 % of this government income to give away to terrorist organisations. That would mean that at least 10,000 to 20,000 Muslims benefiting from social security in Belgium have active connections and save hard to support organisations like Al-Qaeda.

- There are only about 400,000 Muslims in Belgium (including about 250,000 Moroccans)
- Approximately 50,000 of them get monetary help from the government (i.e. excluding those who officially work, children, housewives, and refugees)
- 10,000 to 20,000 Muslims who benefit from the social security end up "donating to Al Qaeda"

The conclusion is spooky : between 20 and 40 % of unemployed Muslim immigrants in Belgium are members of a terrorist organisation who get money from the Belgian social security !

Now, if each unemployed Muslim immigrant only donates 1% of their annual social security allowances (60 euro), instead of 5 to 10%, there needs to be 100,000 people to reach the amount of 6 million euro.

Obviously children do not get social security. Only the head of the family does. As Muslim immigrants tend to have bigger families than the Belgian average, we need to multiply the number of family head by the average household size. Let's take a conservative estimate of 5 family members per household. This gives us 500,000 people belonging to families of Muslim immigrants in Belgium supporting terrorism. It's impossible as this exceeds the number of Muslims in Belgium, let alone those on the social security. Therefore, it necessarily means that each household spends more than 1% of their income to fund terrorist organisations.

The bigger the household the less disposable income they have. 6000 euro per year (500 euro/month) isn't much to survive in Belgium for an isolated person, let alone a family of 5. If they still manage to save to support Al Qaeda, and take serious risks of imprisonment doing so, it means that they must have very deep-rooted convictions and extreme hatred against Western society. With this in mind, it's hard to see, as I said above, how each of these households could spend more than 5 to 10% of their income to "terrorist charity". The number could be between 2 and 5%, which represents between 100,000 and 250,000 people. This number ranges between 40% and 100% of the unemployed Muslims on Belgian soil.

Now you can see how 6 million euro from the social security is an absolutely huge number.

And this still doesn't say anything about the additional number of Muslims who also support terrorism, but fund it from their own pocket, or who support terrorism morally (but cannot donate money).

We are often admonished by the media not to lump all Muslims together, and are reminded that that only a small fraction of them are extremists that have ties to Al Qaeda. But the numbers speak for themselves.

6 million euro was only the amount that the authorities found out. It could be much more than that. As explained above, 6 million euro is already enough to extrapolate that perhaps 40% of Muslim immigrants in Belgium support terrorism. Naturally, the percentage could easily be higher than in Muslim countries, because those immigrants are among the poorest and most uneducated classes from their respective countries (Moroccans making the bulk of Muslim immigrants to Belgium), and those people are more likely to support Al Qaeda.

If even only 20% of unemployed Muslim immigrants are members of terrorist organizations and receiving Belgian social security that is "spooky" let alone 40%.
