Yesterday was the 555th anniversary of the death of the National Hero of Albania Gjergj Kastrioti Skënderbeu. Here is a video with a song dedicated to Him. The old man who sings the song with the musical instrument lahuta was called Gjok Nonaj and he was 102 years old when he played this song on the 100th anniversary of Albania's Independence. And he died 5 years later at the age of 107. Practically a modern day Homer.
