    Cities and names

The structure of some European cities has changed considerably in the last years in terms of population. Many say that some cities will even change name because of that.

What do you think about it and what are your feelings if this will happen eventually?

I am not aware that there are cities that are thinking of changing their name. Do you know of any? The cities I know that changed names where mainly for political reasons (such as Leningrad to St Petersburg) or cities that were given colonial names and changed to their original ones maybe.

The name of a city is not a toy. This cities are getting change from a very long period of time. They should stay as they are now
