Streetfoods of Kolkata

This what I ate as a kid after classes.

'Pani puri' in Bombay is called 'puchka' in Calcutta. 'Sakkar' or sugar in Bombay is 'chini' in Calcutta. You couldn't get 'paratha Kabaab' in Bombay.

I didn't taste much Bombay street food as my childhood was mostly in Calcutta.

Hong Kong Street Food - The fabulous stall of Sham Shui Po

A bowl of noodles was only 50 HK cents. Food was cheap but rent was high taking 50% of your paycheck.

It wasn't until Henry VIII started speaking in English. Before him the British Royals all spoke French. By Henry VIII's time the Tudors relinquished all claims to the French Throne. It was Edward III who claimed the French Throne as his mother was related to the French royal family. The French nobles would have none of it as they didn't want a foreigner for a king in addition to the Salish Law.
