....at the point of ecstasy I write a symphony
Of poetry in motion, and leaving me there to die
I tell myself let no one take her place
To confide in someone and look at how much I paid
I want you next to me, call it telepathy
We drifted into vision and look how much we see...

Miley Cyrus' cover of Nothing Else Matters by Metallica. I can't stand her personally, and I've never listened to her derivative teen age junk, but her recent covers of rock songs are great, imo. Also, has her voice dropped an octave or something? She's found her real genre.

This is up there with Disturbed doing Song of Silence.

These are the reasons why Ancestry doesn’t assign Salento to anyone:
the Griko, the Arbereshe, and the Normans.

Pizzica di San Marzano (an Arbereshe (Albania) Community of Salento / Puglia:

Kalinifta (Good Night … I Think)

    Il Volo (in Griko)

Pizzica di San Vito (dei Normanni - of the Normans) also in Salento, …

… The the city was founded by the Norman Bohemond of Hauteville ( 1050 - 1111 AD), son of Robert Guiscard …they say.

Beautiful excerpt from the overture of I Vespri Siciliani (from Verdi), by Claudio Abbado and Berlin Philharmonic.

Nice tribute to Claudio Abbado one week after his death, by Daniel Barenboim and La Scala: Marcia Funebre from the Eroica, Beethoven:

    … e ninina nannanina ninaninà
generalize meaning: nà, tieni … “take it / let’s share it”, but it could also mean what
    you want it to mean.
