What music are you listening to?

I read the comments to the dating an Italian woman video. Honestly, if more people had a sense of humor there'd be a lot less conflict in the world. It was supposed to be funny...ergo...exaggeration...my God, does the internet attract autistic people or something?
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LqNgE9GgrX8

There were a few sane, funny comments, however. A good one was...why doesn't she give him a list or something? :)

As to people who don't understand physical jealousy...what, do you people mate with spores, like plants?

Another sane one: esigente e fastidioso...applies to both men and women.

I needed to amuse myself a bit. Between politics, terrorism, and some posts on here, I was getting a little depressed.

Do you know this Angela? http://www.eupedia.com/forum/threads/30998-Comedy-movies

Ah, lovely Garrick. One of my favorites. One of my favorite movies too.

You will feel like you just woke up from a weird dream after watching the previous vid. You'll ask..what just happened?

@Angela
You seem to like my music based on what you said in the cargo pants thread lol (kidding).

It takes a certain kind to enjoy work with a more psychadelic flavor such as the vid I posted last Thursday. Just this morning I awoke from a dream where a vigilante was riding a bicycle trying to catch a criminal with a gun attached to a fishing rod! The fishing rod was about 500 feet long and he kept getting it caught against buildings and cars.

Those dreams are actually pretty normal compared to most of the others I've had such as watching some guy in a music video singing about his disease as his face deforms while some of it melts off or the multiple bouts of sleep paralysis I had one night, some of which involved screaming disembodied voices shouting loudly in my ears, a faceless baby, me attempting to scream in terror at the top of my lungs but not being able to etc. I could write a book, but I don't want to stray too far from the topic of this thread.

I'm no stranger to sleep paralysis and throughout most episodes, I would hear "spirits" screaming in my ears.

After I have finished the history and genetics of Maramures,
it's time to present some genuine ethnological aspects:

"This next song was sung by Billie Holiday, called Gloomy Sunday. When she first recorded it on the radio there was a protest from the record company because it was too pessimistic and depressing. Therefore, they had her change the ending to make it more optimistic and hopeful. And at that moment was born the first pop music. I don't do it that way, of course."

What a lady. Is she looking like Nefertite?

I like the song and the visuals.
It sounds like a meanad, allthough she is from San Diego, I have the intense taste of south italy with her vibrato tremolo voices. I think she place the song in an other level
An amazing "love you forever" at exactly 03:59.

I don't know about you, but I can't understand her very well, nor Billie Holiday, for that matter, so for anyone else who has that trouble, see the lyrics below.

Also, this is the link to the Billie Holiday version, for comparison.

Did you know it was originally a Hungarian song? That makes more sense to me.

"
"Gloomy Sunday"

Sunday is gloomy,
My hours are slumberless,
Dearest the shadows
I live with are numberless
Little white flowers will
never awaken you
Not where the black coach
of sorrow has taken you
Angels have no thought of
ever returning you
Would they be angry
if I thought of joining you
Gloomy Sunday.

Gloomy is sunday
with shadows I spend it all
My heart and I have
decided to end it all
Soon there'll be candles
and prayers that are sad,
I know, let them not weep,
let then know
that I'm glad to go

Death is no dream,
for in death I'm caressing you
With the last breath of my
soul I'll be blessing you

Gloomy Sunday
Dreaming
I was only dreaming
I wake and I find you
asleep in the deep of
my heart
dear

Darling I hope that my dream
never haunted you
My heart is telling you
how much I wanted you
Gloomy Sunday."

At Olympic games of Rio 2016,
an Olympian swimmer, Lochti has been stolen at party after the game.

the meaning of olympic games, as also the respect to the olympian winners, seems not to exist anymore.

moral Civilisation collapse,
lets go back to Bishops and Emperrors time of early medieval times, 1600 years back

Sunday seems to be a problem for a lot of people. No doubt overindulging on Saturday nights has a lot to do with it.

I love the song "Black Coffee", sometimes called "Coffee and Cigarettes" also about the Sunday "blues". Peggy Lee does it beautifully, but this is my personal pick, with K.D.Lang...

Then there's always "Sunday Morning Coming Down"-Kris Kristofferson:

KD Lang can project more "heat" into a song than virtually anyone I can think of, as she does in this snippet of the song "Fever". The sizzle is obviously for women, though, rather than for men, which I think has inhibited her career even in this era.

I am leaving for vacations, for few days, (moderator ban me now , before I return  )

so they decide to go the the National and more Park of Monaxus-Monahus, the last area of birth of the trully mediterrenean seal

so I like to say hi to all by an old song by Yianni and poetry by Thomaidou

but seems at my age i would start to like them.
me daughters will force me to walk all the island, taking revenge for the walks I was taking when they they were younger
I start feel my feet geting blisters.

Now that's what I call beautiful: music, poetry, and the glorious scenery.

It should be used as a tourist spot; it's making me ache to go again, anyway.

As for fire, women, and the sea, they're what gives life. What would you do without them? :)

OH! You're talking about hangovers right? Waking up with a weird taste in your mouth, aversion to light, stumbling over your own feet, and questioning why you did that thing last night lol. Made worse by staying up till 3 am and waking up only to find out you fell asleep while doing something lol!

Tend to steer away from rum but one of my friends gave me the rest of his captain morgan last Saturday and I was sick the entire day. I'll stick to vodka lol.
