Another nice version of this great old American song. It always makes me so melancholy, and yet I love it. It's one of those songs that hits me in the gut and makes the hair on my arms stand up, especially when it speaks of going to meet once again one's mother and father.
The acappella song by Shai is also very beautiful.
A lot before my time, believe it or not, but I love this stuff. You're on a roll!
You're from Lithuania? I had no idea there were people there who know so much about this kind of music. :)
That was a nice clip of Elvis. So talented and so gorgeous (nobody ever wore leather better), and seems like a sweet, funny man as well even if he obviously had his demons...what a terrible shame what happened to him.
I love this...the old pre-Vegas Elvis: the 1968 "Comeback Special". The first time I saw it I got why he was "THE KING" for so long. The whole show used to be available but they took it off and people are putting segments back up.

Actually I don't know much about this kind of music and I listen to it even less. Oldest artists in my library are Silver Apples from late 60s, Roxy Music, Kraftwerk, Tangerine Dream, Suicide and Jean Mitchel Jarre from early/mid 70s

Forever and always...Sempre e per sempre
Rain and sun
They change
The face of people
They raise hell in your heart and then they pass
And they come back
And they never stop
Always and forever
Remember
Wherever you are,
If you'll look for me
Always and forever
You'll find me on the same side
I've seen people go, get lost, and then come back
And then get lost again
And I've seen them holding out their hands, empty-handed
And I've seen them walking with the same shoes
On different roads
Or with different shoes
On the same road
Don't believe them
If they'll tell you
That I'm not the same anymore
Rain and sun, they bark and bite
But they leave
Everything as before
And true love can hide
Get confused
But it can never get lost
Always and forever
You'll find me on the same side
Always and forever
You'll find me on the same side
Je t’aime - French Love Song
it is a unique type of song.
Pretend that the Radio is on, and play this song in a social setting, enjoy the uneasy embarrassing expression on the faces of the people (or the “person”) around you. LOL . Maybe.
Play with care,
