Sounds like someone had a really good time....Thank you hope, it was great!
I knew you were sounding rather cheery........Exceeded expectations
Favourite ballad:- Russia - Million voices (of course they have to be very careful not to get two men together in video because they will get arrested for promoting homosexuality according to Putin's gay propoganda laws .... but two women is ok, will not end you up in jail. Great song never the less.

Most talented:- Italy - Grande Amore

Most refreshing:- UK - Still in love with you
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eniaB0xchTY (somehow reminds me of 'On again Off again Malta's entry in 2004 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hbKBo7QhwcI
Over all favourite:- Belgium

so the eurovision song festival is over and Sweden takes the crown. It was a good song.

Russia was second and Italy 3rd.
You were up way too late, Maleth!
I like Belgium's song....sort of "Lorde" like, and more "depth" than most of these songs. I really like the U.K. entry too. Too bad they didn't do better.
I'm surprised that Il Volo went that far...not in the same mold as most of these songs. It wasn't hard to be the most talented, however, because unfortunately most of these people can't sing! At least the Swedish singer was nice to look at, though.
From what I can see on the comments, people think the voting is usually for allied or neighboring countries. Is that true? That would be a shame.
In general I always like my neighbor country Estonian songs. Especially when in Estonian, one of the most beautiful languages in Europe and World. To my ear.
I presume different regions have different musical preferences too, it could be a reason why neighbors vote for each other.
