From the holy book of Europe:
"“And that prophet, or that dreamer of dreams, shall be put to death; because he hath spoken to turn you away from the LORD your God.” (Deuteronomy 13: 5)
“If thy brother, the son of thy mother, or thy son, or thy daughter, or the wife of thy bosom, or thy friend, which is as thine own soul, entice thee secretly, saying, Let us go and serve other gods, which thou hast not known, thou, nor thy fathers.” (Deuteronomy 13: 6)
“Thou shalt not consent unto him, nor hearken unto him; neither shall thine eye pity him, neither shalt thou spare, neither shalt thou conceal him: But thou shalt surely kill him; thine hand shall be first upon him to put him to death, and afterwards the hand of all the people.” (Deuteronomy 13:8-9)

“Thou shalt surely smite the inhabitants of that city with the edge of the sword, destroying it utterly, and all that is therein, and the cattle thereof, with the edge of the sword.” (Deuteronomy 13:15)
"“Slaves, obey your earthly masters with respect and fear, and with sincerity of heart, just as you would obey Christ.” (Peter 2:18: )
From Moses:

“Behold, these caused the children of Israel, through the counsel of Balaam, to commit trespass against the LORD in the matter of Peor, and there was a plague among the congregation of the LORD. Now therefore kill every male among the little ones, and kill every woman that hath known man by lying with him. But all the women children, that have not known a man by lying with him, keep alive for yourselves.” (Numbers 31:16-18) “Every one that is found shall be thrust through; and every one that is joined unto them shall fall by the sword. Their children also shall be dashed to pieces before their eyes; their houses shall be spoiled, and their wives ravished.” (Isaiah 13:15-16)

Sermon preached by Urban II calling for the First Crusade:
"For your brethren who live in the east are in urgent need of your help, and you must hasten to give them the aid which has often been promised them. For, as the most of you have heard, the Turks and Arabs have attacked them and have conquered the territory of Romania [the Greek empire] as far west as the shore of the Mediterranean and the Hellespont, which is called the Arm of St. George. They have occupied more and more of the lands of those Christians, and have overcome them in seven battles. They have killed and captured many, and have destroyed the churches and devastated the empire. If you permit them to continue thus for awhile with impurity, the faithful of God will be much more widely attacked by them. On this account I, or rather the Lord, beseech you as Christ's heralds to publish this everywhere and to persuade all people of whatever rank, foot-soldiers and knights, poor and rich, to carry aid promptly to those Christians and to destroy that vile race from the lands of our friends. I say this to those who are present, it meant also for those who are absent. Moreover, Christ commands it.
"All who die by the way, whether by land or by sea, or in battle against the pagans, shall have immediate remission of sins. This I grant them through the power of God."
Do I have to go through all the sermons preached by the clergy during the Crusade exhorting the Crusaders to kill the infidels in their own midst before setting off for the Holy Land? Or spend time getting the quotes about ministers and priests during the Second World War still preaching that Jews used to use the blood of Christian children during Passover, or would "stab the Eucharist?
I learned about all of this in theology classes run by Catholic nuns, by the way.
The difference is that virtually all Christians and Jews now eschew all of this. Not all Muslims do. That's a problem, but let's not pretend there's something inherently different or more evil about these people.
As for reciting the verses of the Koran, if that is what that boy is doing, it depends on what he means by it. There are psalms recited at Mass that have some hair raising stuff in them, but they are interpreted symbolically, not literally. Even if this boy has been taught to take them literally, are we going to pretend that all Muslims take them literally? Videos like this aren't meant to prompt rational discussion. They're meant to prompt racial and religious fear and hatred.
@Athiudisc, I have no idea what southern fundamentalist churches you've been in, but I've been in a fair number, and I never, ever heard anyone preaching going out to kill people of other religions. Neither have I ever heard of anything like that even in the media, except as it relates to some bizarre cult like group. That's the sort of propaganda that usually comes from far left websites.
