Cancer Causing HPV virus from interbreeding with Neanderthals/Denisova?

    See:

    http://www.archaeology.org/news/4944...irus-infection

"BARCELONA, SPAIN—According to a report in Laboratory Equipment, a new study of a cancer-causing human papillomavirus (HPV16) suggests that its variants evolved separately with archaic and modern humans. HPV does not leave any trace of infection in the bones, so it was not possible to extract ancient forms of the virus from human remains. Instead, scientists Ville Pimenoff of the Catalan Institute of Oncology and Ignacio Bravo of the French National Center for Scientific Research sequenced the genome of the HPV16 virus and its five main lineage subtypes, then reconstructed its evolution over thousands of generations with computer algorithms. Their results suggest that variant A evolved with archaic humans, while three other variants evolved with modern humans. Migrating modern humans then may have been infected with viral variant A through sexual contact with Neanderthals and Denisovans. The study suggests that variant A was able to thrive in the modern human population because the modern human immune system had not evolved the mechanisms necessary to keep it in check. The researchers say that this could explain why the HPV16A variant is rarely found in sub-Saharan Africa, while it is the most common variant in the rest of the world."

Indeed. Sex can bring both great joy and great suffering, which is something you can tell young people, but which they usually have to learn for themselves. Many a woman, especially in the past, has suffered for a lifetime after a night of pleasure, or 15 minutes' worth, or no pleasure at all. Even today there are risks, both physical and emotional.

Neanderthals may have given us cancer causing HPV 16, but we may have given them herpes and tapeworm.

So, there you go. Benefit and loss for each side, although cervical cancer is definitely worse.

It's not all cancer; they're talking about cervical cancer primarily. Then, they're not really talking about cervical cancer rates; they're talking about the prevalence of an HPV variant, which is one of the causes of cervical cancer, that is "rarely" found in Sub-Saharan Africa.

"The researchers say that this could explain why the HPV16A variant is rarely found in sub-Saharan Africa, while it is the most common variant in the rest of the world."

As I said, this HPV variant is only one cause of cervical cancer. There are others.

Actually, cervical cancer rates are high in SSA, but that's because of the other risk factors, and because they don't get a yearly pap screen. With the pap screen, minute changes in the cells can be detected before they actually transform into cancer cells.

    MMS

What would happen if there was a medicine that could cure any pathology, from a cancer to a simple flu, was an excellent anti-inflammatory, harmless, and that, moreover, it was so close at hand that it could even be manufactured at home with everyday ingredients?

According to its discoverer, this gas generates a potent internal disinfectant effect that kills all the anaerobic pathogens that can be found in the body, protecting healthy cells and bacteria. This selection is based on the difference of body PH: in a healthy state our body has a pH between 7.35 and 7.5 (neutral); If we get sick, drops to 7, which facilitates the reproduction of bacteria, parasites and viruses. Chlorine dioxide destroys pathogenic microorganisms, preserving healthy cells and strengthening the immune system. Once inside the body, it is released into the stomach and travels through the blood throughout the body, selectively seeking the acidic terrain to react, destroying bacteria, denaturing viruses and oxidizing parasites and pathogenic fungi. When neutralized, these microorganisms are expelled through the skin, kidneys or colon. Once its mission is fulfilled, the chlorine dioxide is eliminated in the form of water and common salt, without leaving traces.

This post is completely off-topic and even spammy since MMS (sodium chlorite) is dangerous for health when ingested.

    ^^

There are different opinions in this regard and is also used to eradicate the different types of human papillomavirus.

Just a second. Here they say that modern humans are not well immune to deal with varian A.

    And quickly contradict themselves saying:

Aren't Africans modern humans? After 50 k years after HSS sex with Neanderthals SS Africans should be fully infected too from multiple and vast contacts with Europeans and West Asians.
It seems more that after contact with Neanderthals we lost immunity to A, and SS Africans still have it till today. After all a lot of gene borrowing happened in segments responsible for immunity and adaptation to new environment. We gained new immunity and we lost old immunity.
Be wary of people who tend to glorify the past, underestimate the present, and demonize the future.
