There are so many others they could have picked. Some of my own personal favorites are not on the list. They are the result of Anglo-Italian cooperation.

La Foce in Toscana...

Villa Cimbrone in Ravello on the Amalfi Coast...I'm going back no matter what...

Castello Brown in Portofino...Unfortunately I can't find a good video of it.

I am sure Tivoli should be with the top 5...........and Giardino Inglese in Taormina? The beautiful Garden with a grand view.

You're right; I don't know why they didn't include Tivoli.

I'm not familiar with the one in Taormina.

I visited both. Tivoli is just fascinating. What really stuck to my mind was that we were told that all the fountains are (or were) formed from flowing river water. I think today there is a mix of free flowing water and electric pumped water. Its a beautiful place. Giardino Inglese in Taormina is a very beautiful garden but what makes it special is the grand view it has over giardini Naxos (I think). Gardens of Villa Borghese in Rome are left out. I visited too...and been on the boat on the little lake :)
