Review of f-statistics, d-stats and Admixture in the context of population genetics

Some literature to help in understanding D-Stats would also be very helpful, if it's not too much to ask.

Here in a paper titled "Ancient Admixture in Human History", Nick Patterson explains a lot of the statistical tools used in population genetics, including d stats as well as f stats.

It builds on their prior paper from 2011, Durand et al

I have published the following before, but I see people continuing to do this: How Not to Interpret Admixture Analysis:

The above includes a primer by Coop and Mathiesen. It's excellent.

This is excellent as it takes on the problems with dating.
