    Population crashes in ancient Britain driven by climate


    I'm not so sure that exhaustion of the soil didn't play some part, but I'm sure climate was part of it.

    It helps to explain why there was so little "native" EEF in the Bronze Age Britons, although more samples may reveal that more of it survived.

    It happens frecuently in lemings and other rodents, they bloom like a plague to die few weeks after. After some months they recovery their reproduction ability when the grows are optimal. It is a cicle. The same and the same and...
