    To what significance did Alans settle and become apart of the French gene pool? Are there specific regions that received a greater influx?

    That's all they are, though, traces. I doubt they had significant impact on the autosomal composition, although perhaps in areas right near their settlements you might find a slight genetic impact, particularly, perhaps, on ydna.
