I don't know who she is, but I'm sorry to say while I think she's very pretty, she's not in the same league and I don't think she's particularly Mediterranean looking.

I think America has a lot of unique (and beautiful) phenotypes tbh due to the mixing of various European ethnicities.

The Cretan women look exactly like the classical French women... for reasons that should be obvious.
The Latin Ligurians don't have wide mouths like your Central Asian women do, either.

These women are beautiful indeed. I understand why so many of my fellow swedes want to go to Italy for a vacation. If I wasn't old and happily married my life would look different [emoji16]

My best friend actually has an Italian father and Swedish mother. Unfortunately his father got tired of the cold and moved back to Italy, but at least we had somewhere to live when we went there for vacation in the 80s.

The highest concentration of beautiful Mediterranean women from the total population seems to be definitely on Sardinia and the Greek islands. The young islanders from the Aegean Sea region I saw were among the most beautiful young people, on average, I ever encountered. The direct comparison with Northern Europeans was interesting, as the latter had more peak types which truly stick out a little bit more, but no better average in the young. They just vary more in attractiveness, in both directions I'd say, while the typical Mediterranean island populations are more homogeneous. So they will shine the most if comparing group pictures, because there are not too many places in the world in which you can just pick a random group of young people and a large portion looks fairly attractive every time.

Plastic surgery must be as popular in Spain as in Brazil, but Rose Ortega should shoot the plastic surgeon who did hers. I'm sorry Carlos, but it looks like a pig's snout. You can see it wasn't meant to look like that because it's long enough to almost meet her pumped up lips.

Why do beautiful women do this to themselves?

Even Paz Vega's nose has been done, I think. It looks suspiciously like half the nose jobs I see around me here. Between plastic surgery and genetic engineering everyone is going to wind up looking the same. It's so sad.

At that time it looks natural to me. Even if she did something to her nose, it was no big change. Usually the worst results happen if people want a drastic change which is against the natural proportions of the face (Michael and Janet Jackson...) or the surgeon is a botcher. Many nose types which look artificial appear at a low rate naturally too though, so its sometimes hard to tell without a pre- and post comparison.

I watched a pretty good Spanish series on Netflix recently with two lovely Spanish women:

Perhaps Monica Bellucci was an oversight?

I think her face, and certainly her figure, is close to perfect.
