I wouldn't part ways with money for this on myself, personally. But I guess it would be a nice thoughtful gift for someone who really loves genetics. Though it would spoil the surprise if you had to get their saliva sample first.

Edit: sorry, I meant to post this in the DNA testing sub-forum.

A 150.00 scarf? Plus the scarf costs more than the test itself. I know you mean well but 150.00 for a scarf is a complete ripoff. I doubt it's going to sell well.

I'd pay 15.00 max on a good day

50$ for socks and 85$ for a t-shirt? Those are crazy prices. Why would anyone buy that? They are not even beautiful.

It's not my style, and I do agree those are exorbitant prices for something that's not like a designer label. But even then you could get those designer labels for a far more reasonable price, by shopping smart.

What's the point in getting your DNA printed on socks if you're rarely going to see them throughout the day, and showing them off to colleagues or friends would be awkward.

Imagine someone walking up to a colleague at the water cooler, taking off a shoe saying "hey Herb, check out my DNA profile" as the room chokes on his bad foot odor

This DNA Clothing, if accurate, can be used in real life applications. A Dr. could scan your t-shirt and prescribes the best med for You. If you lost bc of dementia the Authorities can immediately find out who you are.
Or use it as a self-empowerment tool: “I know who I’m”.

I think 23 and me already has separate tests for disease risk which are probably cheaper and it'll be even cheaper to carry around a little card in your pocket with your info for the authorities to go by in the case you have dementia.

In case You Have Dementia, You will forget the DNA Card. Your Care Giver will dress You up with DNA Clothing.
Extra protection in case Dementia Sneaks in on You out of the Blue. [emoji15][emoji1]

ps Some of those Guys at the ‘Ev13 from Central Asia’ Thread are Insane.

Actually by info I meant your name and address etc, not your DNA. The caregiver can provide it. Wear it as a necklace and stuff it behind your shirt.

And i think there are various gps devices out there that monitor your location in case you need extra attention so to speak which are probably cheaper as well.
