Geno 2.0 says that I'm close to 50% South West European yet I'm mostly Italian?

I do have Italian/Greek Ancestry coming in at close to 15% and I also have 19% Asia Minor (which is expected) but I'm surprised to see that much South West European/Iberian/Spanish in my ancestry. My father is mostly Italian, Sicilian and Neapolitan and my mother is mostly Eastern European (her father was apparently French and English but none of that came up in the DNA test). How could this be? Did the Spaniards leave a huge footprint in Sicily?

I could probably provide the exact figures if you need me to, I'm a bit shocked to be honest with you - in a good way of course.

I'm 42% Southwestern European just to be clear.
I’m full Italian, and at NatGeo Helix I score 5% Southwestern European, it’s probably ancient in my case.
I’ve seen that Helix, through Insitome, has a Regional Ancestry offer for $29.99 for tested customers like us.
I don’t know much about it, but is an option.

So how am I 42% Southwestern European? Any explanation?

And to be clear, does Southwestern European solely mean Spanish/Iberian?
