Spectacular indeed! I should definitely try once it's completed. Verona is only 90 minutes away by plane.

It's not complete yet, but it promises to be spectacular:
"When complete, the path will measure 140 kilometres, circling the entirety of Lake Garda. Built off the side of the surrounding cliffs, and in some places even skimming the surface of the water, the idea is to give cyclists the sensation of floating or flying over the lake."

I don't know if I'd be able to do it.

you could plan a daytrip, Angela, with a stop for a light meal in a nice place halfway
you can make it
few years ago I've cycled from Stresa while on holiday
Thanks for the confidence, Bicicleur, but it's not just worries about endurance. I have a bit of a thing about heights, unfortunately. I didn't use to, and it's my only irrational fear, but I do have it now, although it's certainly not incapacitating.
I first noticed it a few years ago when driving on the autostrada from La Spezia to Genova. I couldn't look down.
Then it happened when riding a mule down the Grand Canyon. The guide could see I was nervous, and told me while they'd lost hiking tourists, they'd never lost a mule! :)
I'd still recommend it to anyone for their bucket list, though. Once you're on the bottom you stay overnight, and then back up again.
nice
so much to do, so little time ..
