In 2017 I started a thread encouraging users to share their 23andMe Ancestry Composition to get a better idea of what each admixture corresponds to. This resulted in the making of distribution maps for each European admixture. I would now like to do the same for people who have uploaded their autosomal results (from any testing company) to WeGene .

Please only share your results if all your ancestors come from the same country! Kindly also mention your ancestral region(s) within that country so that results can be classify more accurately.

Oh, Wegene was way off on the autosomal...50% Hungarian? 27% French? (I did get 21% French and German at 23andMe, but most of that is German)...but the haplogroups were spot-on, and they got me way further down the 23andMe R M-417 tree, with my deepest clade being R1a1a1b1a1b1d, YP445. Part of the B-Western group of L1029...the R-L1029 YTree has one named specimen from that subclade, a John Shanner born in England in 1776, which is interesting because my mother's paternal line comes from England.

Interesting results from wegene when fed my ancestryDNA results: Balkan 61.54, French 23.49, Hungarian 7.71, Ashkenazi 1.09, South Asian 5.13. That's why you can't take these results very seriously. Also my Y-DNA hg: R1ba1a2, mt hg: U5a1. It really depends on what your reference populations are.
