the new UK laws for plastic and the Importance in EU

someone could write for hours about plastic and enviroment.
    about biodiversity etc etc,

lately EU took measurments about cheap one usage plastic
    and UK made them harder
    (or the oposite)

offcourse the new laws specially for straws is a serious subject,
which might have impact in public health,
or raise the prizes of some products etc etc,

What I wanted to post is this

    https://www.thetimes.co.uk/article/m...b857dd5f83eaa7

9 of 24 spermwhales found dead in Aegean lately died from a plastic mass in their stomach,
considering that the population in Aegean is about 200 means that more than 66 wil suffer a slow painfull death cause their stomach could not digest the amount of plastic and blocked,

    desicion is ours,

and is not only the whales
    but also the turtles

18 deaths of Sea turtles due to plastic bags

    When there is no shame
    Divine blindness conquers them
    Hybris (abuse, opprombium) is born
    Nemesis and punishment follows.

    Εχε υπομονη Ηρωα
    Η τιμωρια δεν αργει.

I agree. The EU is right to ban single use plastics (as opposed to recyclable ones). The problem is that so many countries in the world do not recycle at all. Even in Europe there is hardly any recycling in the Balkans, Romania, Ukraine, Russia and so on.

    one use objects,
which today are in high demand and use
seems they are going to be replaced by ultrapressed papper,
with extra ability to Disolve slow to water,
I still haven't found any data about their synthesis and the disolve time rythm

I really find a better object for enviroment
although I do not know if that means more trees to be cut,
which in such case means means 'no gain'

Not necessarily, if the wood comes from well managed and sustainable forests.

I know this isn't plastics, but I do believe this will be a huge problem in the future. We have become such a disposable society. https://planetgreenrecycle.com/fundr...-waste-problem

I still hope in less consuming

    for better long healthy lifetime
for better life in healthy enviroment.

    our fathers spoil nothing,
    we do spoil a lot,

    Wheal the worst is this

the phase when everybody burns its trash, or wants to get gold from motherboardes, or plays it a chemist.
you have cancer in your pocket, waiting to put your hand inside,

anyway after close my old work, I work in hitec company
so electronic scrap are easy to gain,
Irecycle personally a lot of kilos,
I even got a few grams of gold and few kilos of Neodymium, and offcourse tissues of Lithium.
    till got bored.
never open flame, or boiling acid,

but electronic scrap problem is their recycling,
    not the polution to enviroment.

I think it is a good start,
although I am afraid if it not searched humanity might enter a loop

the latest Greenpeace report gives the 3 major responcibles companies,

which for me, MUST BE PUNISHED, for poluting all over the world,

the major responsible for plastic polution at sea and the shores is Coca-cola
    second is PepsiCo
    and third is Nestle,

and although we punish with fine some smaller, or some more guys,
NO ONE DARES to fine these companies,
Yet if we travel to an abbandones seashore, or at at a river bank,
the bottles of the above are easily recognised,

the major problem is our 'education' and our economics,
which prefers such bottles, instead of aluminum tins, which are recyclable,
the second is 'advertisement' which 'teach us' that a weekend at the beach is better with sugar-soda, or caffeine drink,

OFFCOURSE, WE MUST NOT EXCLUDE, THE WATER BOTTLES,
which lateley is the most common plastic carbage at the beach,

WE CAN ENJOY THE RIVERBANK, THE SEASHORE, AND THE SEA, WITHOUT DRINKING SUGAR-SODA,
OR AT LEAST WE MUST CARRY OUR CARBAGE BACK TO THE CITY AND THROW THEM TO A CAN.

IT IS ALL IN OUR MIND,
HAPPINES IS NOT LIVING AS TV COMMERCIAL SHOW,

    The stupid bird, has died,
    its body vanished,
yet what killed it, inside its stomach, it is still there, to kill another one,
these birds, seagulls, love plastic carbage areas to fed,

our only allies against plastic garbage war are the seabirds, but until when?
almost 90% of seabirds will eat plastic and die suffering from it,
seabirds eat plastic due to DMS/Dimethyl Sulfides,
which to them, is like a human smelling his favorite dish,

    https://news.nationalgeographic.com/...oss-australia/

TODAY WE FIND MORE SEABIRDS AT TRASH AREAS,
    THAN AT SEASHORES,
    due to dimethyl sulfide

the numbers, and the post is based upon Greenpeace publications of this October

    https://www.greenpeace.org/greece/is...xei-taftotita/

the main global search is here,
    https://www.breakfreefromplastic.org...ditreport2018/

    We must protect our lives,
and must protect our FREE world,
    from those ..... producers,
lets keep our minds and our lifes, clean from these 'nature killers'
we protest and deny their policy,
and must force them to clean the shores,
    or pay enviromental fine,
Capitalism must not turn to dictatorship of some,
We must resist to gain our FREE and CLEAN world back.
lets Force them to clean the shores and change their wrapings
    Or BOYCOT them,
cleaning the shores is not anymore a work for volunteers,
neither the poor who can not afford to consume such must pay for the cleaning

    BUT FIRST
lets change our minds,Happines is not to drink a sugar-soda at the beach,
    Happines is
to play with children, or kiss your girlfriend at a Clean and safety beach,

    FREE WORLD DOES NOT MEAN
    I CONSUME THEREFORE I EXIST.
    FREE WORLD DOES NOT MEAN
I EARN, SO I CAN POLUTE.

    Salento,
    Communist do not exist anymore,
except a 'strange' party in China,
an oligarchy system of 'Mao' worshipers, who carry the name communism, but are capitalists
    N Korea is under dictatorship

    BTW
I believe in the Free world,
not in party dictatorship, like China
neither in bank dictatorship, like the West is turning,

    Remember the Roman empire history,

    YET
When in Europe started the enviromental tax for use of plastic bags,
my father was against, believing in the freedom of economy,
he is about 90, and when I took him before 2 years at an isolated shore where we use to go fishing,
he was dipressed, cause he could not found a 'clean' place at the sand to put his rods, and walk to put the baits to each,
a good start is to force the main poluters to clean the ocean,
or harras their products, as we did with plastic bags, and with this money clean the beach,

in the name of freedom, does mean I have the right to polute,
cause freedom stops there, where another's rights start,

the CO2 laws, the global standards for polution and limits, etc
    must continue, cause if not,
SOON OUR CHILDREN WILL FACE THE HELL THAT CREATE OUR TODAY PARADISE.

and another ungly view, and danger we often see at shores,
less polution, but still ungly, and dangerous for children 0-3 years old,

Putting Lipstick on Communists doesn’t make them Socialists.
imo They are “Sanitizing” the Name to appeal to the Masses.

Nobody wants to be called communists anymore, even if they are. It seems a lot of Europeans, including Italians, want to forget how many of them voted for that discredited, murderous, ideology, even after Hungary and Czechoslovakia made it clear what it was all about.

China is not a capitalist country even if it allows for some limited capitalist enterprises.

Communism always devolves into a dictatorship. There are other kinds of dictatorships as well.

The sad fact is that for a good part of the twentieth century most Europeans fought to choose which kind of dictatorship they fancied. I sometimes wonder if the veneer of democracy is very thin.

As for plastics, I really do wish we could make an effort to cut down on plastic containers. Besides the obvious environmental problems, I don't think it's good for you, and we'd use less petroleum. I do try to find glass containers, but it's difficult as things stand. They should bring back milk delivery in bottles like these:

The Whole Foods Market near me does deliver, but, alas. the lactose free milk is available only in those plastic lined cartons, and you pay extra for the convenience.

    there are many powers,
    politicians - parties

    justice law
    police-crime-social peace
    journalism
bank-money deposit plan for advance and society.
industry - production companies and own.
