    Help with placing on map?

My friend just got her 23andme and Ancestry results back and she is not very clear on the interpretation they offered. I am trying to place her in a graph similar to this: http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-fc2W-6tR-H...600/europe.png , but I don't know how. Can anyone offer some advice?

Clarification: I put that picture there as a reference but the actual graph to place her should include African groups too because she is mixed so she might actually fall outside frames there.

Download the Raw date onto GED match. Used the K36 tool. Once she gets the results, you can input them into multiple different map programs..

The picture you posted is a Principal Component Analysis. You could merge your person (after conversion into PLINK format) with an academic dataset (or an excerpt of it) and then make a PCA (with smartpca for example), then plot the person with R (or other programs) onto such a "coordinate system". You will not be able to just make that with no experience. I offered such a service in the past (obviously for a fee).

Below is an "alternative"; you have to enter your Erogenese K15 scores (which you can get from Gedmatch) and then manually mark your coordinates in to that picture with a picture editor.
