Hey, i just got my MyHeritage result and... i have to say am concerning. It makes the following results:

Northern and Western Europe

50,9%


Irish, Scot, Gal

27,8%


English

23,1%





Southern Europe

27,3%

Italian

21,8%


Iberian peninsula

5,5%




Eastern Europe

21,8%

Balkans

21,8%

So the Swiss ancestry is included into " Italy ", but it doesn't show me at all my German ancestry, knowing my mother's mother is from eastern germany. Also, the " Brittish " ancestry seems too high, in 23andme it only account for 1% of my ancestry while here, it account for 50%!!! Something doesn't match with MyHeritage results, can someone give us a clue?
 
I strongly suggest you try geneplaza or the K36 cal on GED match Visigoths also? Do you mean the Vandals?
 
GedMatch recently have reviewd their policy, it basically means when the guy who manage the site gonna be married one day and he gonna lack some money, he gonna sell the personal informations to anybody making the good price. Opening some crossing for bio-terrorism. I know it sounds crazy reading like this, but, this is what gonna happen.

I mean, i dont know exactly how both determine the ancestry, but 23andme looks more accurate i guess. You should wait the response of someone who really knows about it.

In neither of the two have they been so precise, in my opinion I should do it with 23andme
