    W4 mtDNA

I am a W4 mtDNA. I understand it is not very common and may be associated with Viking women who came into Great Britian with the Viking invasion. My female line goes back to northeast England to the 1600's. Anyone else with similiar ancestry?

No, but just chiming in to say that that hypothesis is probably correct. Also interesting that you picked up a similar Y DNA, R1a - probably also Viking if British originally.
