No planes? People unwilling to work getting rewarded?

Even my liberal/democrat friends are mortified by this proposal, but it turns out a lot of people in the House are signing on to this. Nevertheless, this does not have a chance in hell of ever happening. I've heard pundits try to defend it as some kind of "conversation starter". What's the sense in our elected officials having a pointless conversation, about some ridiculous, and childish plan that is never going to happen? Why would the people funding the democrats ever back someone who wants to tax them 70%? These radical leftists in the democratic party are nothing more than useful idiots. And the establishment democrats are completely acquiescent to the interests of the boogiemen the radicals are against. I wonder if this will ultimately lead to a real schism in the party.

This radical fringe attached to the Democratic Party it’s completely gone insane.
I live in a Blue State, but I don't know anybody who takes them seriously.

How about “after birth abortion” No matter the party, we're all horrified.

What’s also worrying is the antisemitic escalation targeting the Jews and Israel coming from this Radical Democrats.

Mainstream Democrats don't say much because they don't want to be attacked and been labeled by this Leftist Lunatics.

The sheer stupidity of what's coming out of the extreme left in America is mind boggling.

They don't have a clue what they're talking about economically or in any other way.

The mainstream media castrates Trump every day for every misinformed comment, not just outright fabrications, but this crap gets a pass.

Jews should wake up and realize the Democrats are abandoning them.

I don't know exactly what the Green Deal is in America, but as far as I can tell something quite similar is going on in Europe and particularly in Belgium.
Everything should be green from now on, cost what it may.
Those who are taxable will pay for it and the others will get a free ride.
Governments are allowed to make as much debts as they see necessary to reach the green objectives, the goals justifies all means.
And if we don't do this, it will soon be doomsday.

We have elections coming up in may.
I'm curious what will come out of it.
Some will fall for the rhetoric, for sure.

I think if there was a schism in the party between the far-left and the establishment, the establishment Democrats would probably move a bit to the right. Clearly the establishment democrats are pro-capitalist, and enjoy the support of large corporations, and banks. They would fare better than the radicals who would most likely be forced into the underground again, and back on the fringe. The funny thing is, when I have debates with liberals, and point out the crazies in their party, they seem to not have a clue of what I'm talking about. Perhaps because the news outlets they get their information from don't report on the psychopaths on the left, nearly as much as they try to spend time making sensible conservatives look like extremists. But now, you have the radical leftists in a position of power, articulating their plans, and guess what... a lot of democrats are not liking what they hear.

Amazon pulling out of New York is the direct result of the Far Left utopia.

This is what happens when Capitalism clashes with Socialism.

unbelievable !

The deal supports free public college as well so we have to pay for someone's major in Hip-Hop Philosophy with a minor in Burmese Finger Painting. He then lands a sustainable career at ShopRite

The good thing of all this is that chance Trump will be reelected in 2020 goes higher and higher.

About the 2020 Presidential election.
Let's look at some new Numbers.

2018 Registered voters
31 states (plus the District of Columbia) with party registration:

40% Democrats
29% Republicans
28% Independents

2019 Nation Wide Gallup Poll
39% Independents
34% Democrats
25% Republicans

When asked, the majority of Americans declare themselves Independents.
An Independent is unaffiliated, and they hold the crucial votes in Presidential Elections, keeping in mind that the President is not elected by the majority. The President is elected by the Electoral College.

The vast majority of registered voters will vote based on their party affiliation so the fight is all about convincing the Independents.
