I see that someone identified the "Colonial American Pennsylvania" reference population as a set of European remains found in northeastern Pennsylvania, dated to 1634-1662 AD (Shohola). The only Europeans in that area at the time (in any significant numbers) were the Dutch. As my closest match, that certainly validates this test for me. My Y-DNA ancestors (English) lived in this area c1745-1810 and married into Dutch families who had lived in the area for several generations. This is most likely where their descendants picked up the reference DNA.

The guy below (Peterski) uploaded data with samples from Shohola, Pennsylvania, at Eurogenes K13 e K36 calculators on Gedmatch and got the data below:

Peterski

I uploaded him on GEDmatch thinking it was a Native sample, but the results are European.

Then I checked in Supplementary Figures and the population label is "Colonist", so correct.

Central Roman 590 AD is my top match, a bit like yours, but not as close.
My 3rd is a Hellenic Roman 670 AD.

At first look, your Deep-Dive map has many similarities to mine and one of Jovialis.

Idk if its recent or just Central Med type ancestry, but I get 32 "Italian" in K36, and my father 35 percent. On G25 plot I fall pretty much in Bari(I know its not literal) and with Tolan's chromosome maps, most of the chromosomes plot from south to north Italy. I seem to have a slight south-west shift towards Sardinia/Spain.

As I noted before, trueancestry.com gives me GEDmatch kit DD7536671 (thanks Duarte) as my number one match, but when I try GEDmatch itself, I get no match, in either the One to Many for DD7536671, nor any shared DNA segments in the One to One.

Hi shissem,
The MyTrueAncestry and GEDmatch algorithms are different, or at least the settings of the comparison parameters between samples are different. For example, MyTrueAncestry says that I have match with the I4332 sample and 1 to 1 GEDmatch says I have no match with that sample. Unfortunately the lack of uniformity of the parameters used by the companies of autosomal test to consider what is or not a match are very different, which makes comparisons unfeasible. Just to illustrate, in the upload I made of my raw data MyHeritage to DNA.LAND, the latter says that I am 11% Scandinavian. In the upload I made from my raw data Family Tree DNA - FTDNA to DNA.LAND, the latter already tells me that I am 14% Scandinavian. The truth is that if there is a place which is far away from me, this place is Scandinavia. There is still much to improve on all companies, including the big four on the market.
Big hug and have a nice night.

Thanks for the comment/reply. This is my issue with this "science." I understand Y-DNA and mtDNA (it's a straight line descent), but I can't grasp what autosomal DNA is trying to tell me. I get that I'm related to a whole bunch of other lines of descent, but what do I do with that information, and why does every site give me different interpretations of the data? I just trying to understand . . .

Thanks for info J.

I don't know in this instance, but I read somewhere that Experts use some form of Imputation to fill in the blanks SNPs.

Abstract

From around 2750 to 2500 BC, Bell Beaker pottery became widespread across western and central Europe, before it disappeared between 2200 and 1800 BC. The forces that propelled its expansion are a matter of long-standing debate, and there is support for both cultural diffusion and migration having a role in this process. Here we present genome-wide data from 400 Neolithic, Copper Age and Bronze Age Europeans, including 226 individuals associated with Beaker-complex artefacts. We detected limited genetic affinity between Beaker-complex-associated individuals from Iberia and central Europe, and thus exclude migration as an important mechanism of spread between these two regions. However, migration had a key role in the further dissemination of the Beaker complex. We document this phenomenon most clearly in Britain, where the spread of the Beaker complex introduced high levels of steppe-related ancestry and was associated with the replacement of approximately 90% of Britain’s gene pool within a few hundred years, continuing the east-to-west expansion that had brought steppe-related ancestry into central and northern Europe over the previous centuries.

Ok Angelas wanted some kits. I don't have time for Longobards yet. But I found some other ancients.

How are all of you posting your maps from mytrueancestry.com?
When I try to copy and paste it only shows the url here.
Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated.
