    Hi Carlos,

I think you should disregard this last assessment. You are not a descendant of Japanese. In the picture below is my niece Sabrina (green eyes, center of the photo), her husband Gustavo (son of a Japanese father and a Brazilian mother) and the couple's daughter, Helena, who completed a year this past Saturday, November, 3th. They live in São Paulo and this picture was taken in celebration of the girl's birthday, in which I was present. Sabrina's father-in-law's family refers to Helena as "the redheaded Japanese." She is a “star” in his family. LOL

    Cheers :)

The fact is that I would not have cared to be Japanese. Good luck to the girl and the whole family. Was the photo taken by the father-in-law?

Thank you Carlos. Helena Muragaki. She is very beautiful and smart. The photo was taken by professional photographers hired to register the event. I caused a little confusion at the party. At the momen of the photos of family togheter I was in the toilet. My son saw that I didn't show up and went to search for me. As I arrived at the place for the photos, the photographer in charge said that the reunited family photos had already been completed and that the next pictures would be of the girl with the guests. Needless to say, the photographer and camera were knocked out the first time I could find him alone, after the party was over and after the guests has gone. I just didn't end up at the police station because my older brother got around the situation. I was a little drunk and the photographer’s bad luck is that I'm very tall and strong. I think I'm dizzy to this day after all this. May God forgive me

I see that it is internationally. I do not know what is happening but it is the law of minimum effort in professionals or simply people who have to serve the public, officials, clerks of shops e.t.c. Servilism has been lost well understood when it comes to attending. About alcohol I also got drunk this summer at a wedding for years that I didn't do it and I already needed it.

I agree with you dear friend Carlos. Service providers are getting worse and worse. They are expensive and do not meet the expectations. They want to enforce their rules without respecting the interests of the client. Of course this does not justify my impulsive attitude, but I did not travel 560 km from Belo Horizonte to Sao Paulo to be badly treated. Besides, I'm the best man at the girl's parents' wedding. As for drunkenness, it is good from time to time, as long as we don't cross the line, as was my case. LOL Hugs dear friend :)

For me, this is off as often as it's right.

It says I don't flush after drinking alcohol, but I do, it says I'm lactose tolerant, but I stopped being able to digest it in my thirties, it says I have the empathy gene, which I do, but it's paired with optimism, and I'm not at all optimistic by nature, and it says I'm likely to be able to be hypnotized, whereas in actuality I tried it once, and the hypnotist gave up in despair. :) I also absolutely am in tune with medications and whether they're working or not, and I get no placebo effect. I could go on, i.e. it says I have good hearing, and I don't, and it says I don't detect floral fragrances very well, whereas in actuality I detect them instantly, and from far away. Oh, and it says I have straight hair, and I have very, very, wavy hair, bordering on curly when I was a little girl.

So, there must be other snps they haven't found yet.

It does get my brown eye color, and fair skin, and I get positive results for all three snps for romantic relationships.

The color in the picture is actually spot on:
    Eye Colour

Brown eye colour is found in 80% of people with your genotype
Brown eye colour is a dominant genetic trait, and is created by the presence of melanin in the eye.

    Skin Tone

People with your genotype are likely to have a light skin tone
This genotype can be used to determine ancestry, probably a light skin tone of European ancestry.

It also gets that I'm a worrier and a slow coffee metabolizer, and can't drink too much of it.
    Caffeine Response

People with your genotype are slow caffeine metabolisers
Carrier of one CYP1A2*1F allele. As a slow caffeine metaboliser, caffeine may have side-effects and limiting consumption may be beneficial. Increased risk of heart attack from drinking coffee.

Oh, and I do have a good memory and a big skull, alas, for the latter. :) It's too good, not only for facts and ideas, but for emotions. I can re-feel them if that makes sense. I think that's why I can hold grudges for so long.
    Memory

People with your genotype have increased memory performance.
    Good. Increased memory performance.

    Avoidance of Errors, Intelligence

People with your genotype display better error avoidance.
Better at learning from mistakes. Normal OCD risk, normal tardive diskinesia risk, lower ADHD risk. Less alcohol dependence. Higher risk of postoperative nausea. Lower obesity. Bupropion is effective.

    References:

For each C allele at rs10784502 there is an increase of 1.29 IQ points.

They're right about every single characteristic of this last one: not at all ADHD, rather the opposite. My power of concentration rather puts people off, to be honest. Also spot on for the others: no alcohol or other substance abuse inclination whatsoever, but terrible nausea after anesthetics, and lower BMI than other people, thank God.

I really have to practice more tolerance when looking at the behavior of others. I literally get angry when I see them repeat behaviors which have already been shown to have such negative effects. I want to smack some of them, I swear! I guess to some extent it's just literally harder for them.

Ed. Hang on. I got one wrong. It says I'm a Warrior, not a Worrier. I don't know what they mean by that. If they mean I fight back when threatened or attacked, they're definitely right, as I'm sure people here can attest, :), but I am a worrier in the sense that I worry that things will go wrong, i.e. I'm a bit of a pessimist, the type that goes through all the possible scenarios of what could go wrong and what I could do to change it, and I worry about the people I love all the time.

You're right. I noticed my mistake and edited my post. :)

"Turning the other cheek" was one of those Christian precepts that I found impossible to follow. My instinct is to hit back harder. Get it from my father, along with my hot temper. My mother was a saint with the patience of Job.

I do indeed have to control my urges to "smack" people, or shake them, although you can be a "warrior" in other ways, i.e. with words. My Dad used to tell me I could flay people alive with my tongue, and it's true. All his sisters were like that too. I often feel terrible afterwards, but by then it's too late. There are some people and situations, however, where not only do they more than deserve it, but where it's been useful.

If I could change one thing about myself it would be my hot temper, lack of patience, and tendency to say really hurtful things when I'm angry. If there is a God and a reckoning in the hereafter, those will be my undoing. I do really try, believe it or not, but I think I'd have to take tranquilizers or something to completely control it.

Well, Salento. Less likely, average and more likely? Bipolar perhaps ? LOL. This may explain why the T line has expanded less than the R line. You, the Ts, are very fickle in your romantic relationships!

    Perhaps Not :)

What's left of my y line are the survivors of the fittest,
    We’re few, but Strong.

The frontier moves with the sun and the R Man pushes the T Man of these wilderness forests in front of it until one day there will be no T Man left. Then the T race will be no more, or be not us.

A wonderful movie. Stunning images and an exciting story. The excerpt from the epilogue you posted is vibrant and the final quote could serve as the tomb’s epitaph of the last of the Mohicans.

Partially true. Hair is straight when short, big curls when long.

When I was born/early childhood my hair was bleach blonde, as I grew it got darker. Now its akin to brown, dirty/dark blonde.

I have heterochromia, with the outside of the eye being grey/green and the inside being brown. Makes sense given the brown alele is dominant. From afar my eyes look the average light brown.

    No freckles ...

    Yep...

Id say I am on the shorter side.

Yikes... My forehead is like a bus mirror, pretty big since I can remember. Thankfully not due to balding... at least yet.

Yep, my taste for milk is an acquired one. Could not stand it as a kid.

Explains my nausea when I have too many coffees.

    :)

If only I repeated some mistakes less often...

Hmm. not sure about this one. Needed fairly big headpieces in Football (American one) and Go-karting.

    Emphatic and proud of it.

    Not sure about this one...

From experience, totally true. Was unable to get under hypnosis under professional supervision.

    Mind over matter, always.

Not so sure about this one chief.

True... have had some pretty rough patches and deep lows. Thankfully in the battle of nature vs nurture, nurture is working wonders for me. I guess it comes with age and maturity.

    Whatever that means.

I am indeed the "all in" type of person xD.

Yep. Had to grow a thick skin. Started out with a pretty thin one.

My dentist would beg to differ.

Bad luck on this one. 100% True. Most notably when trying to read on a drive.

You saw Carlos! What a crazy! I was supposed to despair. If I am going to develop all these diseases related to the Neanderthal genes, I am no more than two days life. It will be Is there nothing positive inherited from the Neanderthals? In fact I have to live each day as if it were unique. LOL. Hugs my dear friend :)
