Someone suggested:

"Russian provocation?"

But apparently not:

"This article was posted on the Ukrainian website, it was written by Ukrainians. Please believe us that many [Ukrainians] would agree to join Poland without hesitation. Which, of course, would be rather unfavorable for us [Poles]. The article is clearly anti-Russian. The author even states that Ukraine has never been part of the 'Russian world'."

And:

"Journalists of the Ukrainian website encourage the dissemination of the idea on social networks, which they think will make 'a referendum in a year or two'. The text of the proposal can be found at: ua-reporter.com."
 
The Poles would not want to unite with Ukraine, it offends their semi-Central European sensibilities. Poland would do better to associate with Germany and the V4
 
Lviv is no less Central European than Cracow, so I don't see what's the problem?

no, thanx, I prefer something like Poland and Democratic Republic of Congo more, and Kenya, Eldoret city has mild climate conditions at least
