Where was Parrhasia (3rd millennium BC), Iran, India, Sogdia, or Greece?

We read about Parhasi (also called Marhasi, Barhasi, Warhasi, ...) in Sumero-Akkadian sources from at least the 3rd millennium BC, as a major power in the Middle East, it is generally believed it was originally in the east of Elam, modern Pars (Persia), but Strabo talks about Parrhasii in the north of Iran (Mazandaran province), we also see similar ancient names in India, Sogdania, Asia Minor and Greece.

Parrhasius was in Greek mythology the son of Lycaon or of Zeus. He was an Arcadian hero, and his son Arcas had the region named after him.[1] He is said to have founded the Arcadian city of Parrhasia.
