This is what you posted as your results for the Punt K12 modern. It's not possible for a Northern Italian.

Check that you didn't put the Punt K12 coordinates in the Dodecad K12 ancient and modern calculator or vice versa. From gedmatch you have to get the PUNT K12 coordinates and put them into the new Punt K12 ancient calculator at Vahaduo or the PUNT K12 modern.

I have not got any PuntDna12 until now

all results are with dodecad ..........

Thanks , so I was using Dodecad on puntdna12 data

this is better

... More Ancient or Modern ? :)

Dod k12 Kits comparison:
Combined, 23s, AncestryDNA, 23v4, 23v5, LivingDNA, NatGeo:

Is NatGeo the most accurate even though it is the smallest file?

It’s the only Kit that gave me a Modern population at the top, and is the correct one too :)

Hi @Salento. Very cool (y)

Next, I am playing with a combination of ancient and modern populations in a calculator other than Vahaduo Dodecad K12b: The Vahaduo Eurogenes K13, source data modern + ancient. In this calculator, at least in my specific case, the modern populations ever appears first than the ancient populations.

LOL.
I0588_Tanzania_Zanzibar_First_Millenium_1150_ybp is an European lost in Zanzibar (outlier). The date of this ancient sample says he was died 1150 years before the present (Al-Andalus period in the Iberian Peninsula), but many believe that the date is wrong and that he is a Portuguese sailor that lived in the end of the 15th century or beginning of the 16th century, period of the great navigations. :unsure:Well, I don't what he was

He took a Tanzania Safari in the 15th Century, lol

(y) ... nice K13 Ancient/Modern results :)

Thank you Salento (y)

Well, I wouldn't want to be a descendant of a merchant or slave owner, but unfortunately, I believe I am. I don't have to travel far in the past to know this. My ancestors in Brazil were slave masters and, although my grandfather insisted on telling me that these ancestors were very good with their slaves, far from him my mother told me that slave masters can never be classified as good people. Over time I learned that she was right. Last weekend was Mother’s Day.

Zanzibar and mafia island nearby where once portuguese colonies .........yes they sent slaves to indonesia or Goa ( india ) and some via mozenbique to brazil.....zanzibar was eventually an arab slave centre sending their slaves to the arabian peninsula ( usually Oman )

Thanks for the guideline, @torzio. Next I transcribe what Wikipedia in English says about the Portuguese in Zanzibar:

Portuguese colonization

Vasco da Gama's visit in 1498 marked the beginning of European influence. In 1503 or 1504, Zanzibar became part of the Portuguese Empire when Captain Ruy Lourenço Ravasco Marques landed and demanded and received tribute from the sultan[who?]in exchange for peace.[18]:page: 99 Zanzibar remained a possession of Portugal for almost two centuries. It initially became part of the Portuguese province of Arabia and Ethiopia and was administered by a governor general. Around 1571, Zanzibar became part of the western division of the Portuguese empire and was administered from Mozambique.[19]:page: 15 It appears, however, that the Portuguese did not closely administer Zanzibar. The first English ship to visit Unguja, the Edward Bonaventure in 1591, found that there was no Portuguese fort or garrison. The extent of their occupation was a trade depot where produce was purchased and collected for shipment to Mozambique. "In other respects, the affairs of the island were managed by the local 'king', the predecessor of the Mwinyi Mkuu of Dunga."[12]:page: 81 This hands-off approach ended when Portugal established a fort on Pemba Island around 1635 in response to the Sultan of Mombasa's slaughter of Portuguese residents several years earlier. Portugal had long considered Pemba to be a troublesome launching point for rebellions in Mombasa against Portuguese rule.[12]:page: 85
The precise origins of the sultans of Unguja are uncertain. However, their capital at Unguja Ukuu is believed to have been an extensive town. Possibly constructed by locals, it was composed mainly of perishable materials.[12]:page: 89”
