Health New Coronavirus in China

Question of an ignorant like me,

concerning the numbers of spring and today, and the theory 'immune of the pack'
if there is no immune of the pack, and antibodies weaken by time, as many researches show.
the vaccine would be permanent? or every year we will make a new one?

Since we don't have enough history/experience with this particular virus assume for the time being that you need yearly vaccination just like with the regular flu.

can I have some shares of medical industries plz?

cause from what I read, and as you wrote (same is my believe)
if it is true that at a time of 3-6 months antibodies just 'puff on air', then might be 2 times a year? possible?

What the heck is up with the upper midwest and Illinois etc? What are they doing wrong, or is it genetics?
Yeah, over 52 million cases WW. So knowing that some did not even have symptoms and could've recovered from the virus before. It is likely that the bulk of American population will recover from it by the time the vaccine comes fully in function.
It was all about preventing hospitals from being overloaded, well that's almost done.

It has always been about overloading hospitals and health systems. Even Fauci recognizes that another lockdown will not happen so just wear your masks and avoid crowds.

Hahaha. On a serious note, neither. Coronaviruses are a group of viruses, some viruses that cause the common cold are coronaviruses. The ones that cause SARS, MERS, and COVID-19 are also coronaviruses. Coronavirus the term by itself in 2019-20 has come to refer to SARS-CoV-2, when it really shouldn’t.

Perhaps these areas are more apt to not take precautions? Perhaps they don’t take this seriously? There are reasons PPE is recommended and a lot of people flat out reject the science because wearing a mask and disinfecting has become so politicized.

"Background The severity of coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) caused by the severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2 (SARS-CoV-2) is highly heterogenous. Studies have reported that males and some ethnic groups are at increased risk of death from COVID-19, which implies that individual risk of death might be influenced by host genetic factors."

So going by the pre-print, and other findings from previous studies; Covid-19 is most dangerous for Type-A blood, elderly, white British males, with comorbidities. Yet it has disproportionality affected lower-income African-American, and non-white Hispanics communities in the USA. Part of this may have to do with behavioral health disparities, compounded with access to healthcare:

I am A + and my wife and son are A- I had covid 19 with strong symptoms and my son and wife are still unharmed. Of the three I was the one who taken more careful and, despite that, the only one who got contaminated. In my example of family, it seems that the fact that both have the blood type Rh- is protect both until now, I think.

Well a lot of the essential front line workers might be African-Americans and Latinos.

Well a lot of the essential front line workers might be African-Americans and Latinos.

Here are the facts:

Key Findings
 Female workers represent the majority in 25 of the 30 U.S. healthoccupations analyzed here.
 There is considerable variation in racial and ethnic diversity by occupationalgroups.
 All minority groups, except Asians are underrepresented in Health Diagnosisand Treating occupations.
 Hispanics, Asians and Native Hawaiian/Pacific Islanders are underrepresentedamong Counselors and Social Workers (Community and Social Serviceoccupation).
 Personal Care and Service Occupations is the most diverse occupational group, followed by occupations belonging to the Healthcare Support group.

On January 25th was Chinese New Year and around 1 Million Chinese visitors came to Thailand. Around 20,000 of them were from Wuhan. It took almost 2 months for the number of cases to exceed 100.

Many more studies are coming out indicating the same: Rh negatives have some protection from all 3, infection, intubation and death.
https://www.rhesusnegative.net/stay...-and-covid-19-infection-intubation-and-death/
We found slightly increased infection prevalence among non-O types. Risk of intubation was decreased among A and increased among AB and B types, compared with type O, while risk of death was increased for type AB and decreased for types A and B. We estimated Rh-negative blood type to have a protective effect for all three outcomes. Our results add to the growing body of evidence suggesting blood type may play a role in COVID-19.
In Asia and Africa, complete Rh(D) gene deletions are rare, so there is a possibility that those with Asian and African ancestries who are statistically Rh negative may not be protected in the same manner.

Ancient coronavirus epidemic drove adaptation in East Asians.

https://www.biorxiv.org/content/10.1101/2020.11.16.385401v1

"[h=2]Abstract[/h]The current SARS-CoV-2 pandemic has emphasized the vulnerability of human populations to novel viral pressures, despite the vast array of epidemiological and biomedical tools now available. Notably, modern human genomes contain evolutionary information tracing back tens of thousands of years, which may help identify the viruses that have impacted our ancestors - pointing to which viruses have future pandemic potential. Here, we apply evolutionary analyses to human genomic datasets to recover selection events involving tens of human genes that interact with coronaviruses, including SARS-CoV-2, that started 25,000 years ago. These adaptive events were limited to ancestral East Asian populations, the geographical origin of several modern coronavirus epidemics. An arms race with an ancient corona-like virus may thus have taken place in ancestral East Asian populations. By learning more about our ancient viral foes, our study highlights the promise of evolutionary information to combat the pandemics of the future."

Great...now the Chinese government will have more candidates for biological warfare.

People with blood type O have less chances of getting Covid-19
3 hours ago

A person’s blood type may slightly lower their risk of contracting COVID-19, according to a Canadian study.
According to the findings of the study, O blood groups have 12% less chances of being infected by COVID-19 compared to the other blood groups. Moreover, those with a negative blood group (O-, A-, B-, AB-) have 21% less danger of being infected by COVID-19.
Consequently people with O- blood type seem to have the least danger of all.
The findings of the Canadian study are in line with the findings of an older Chinese study which was the first one ascertaining that not all blood types have the same danger of being infected by COVID-19.

So far, this seems to be where we're at:

the study.png

https://www.rhesusnegative.net/stay...-and-covid-19-infection-intubation-and-death/

https://www.rhesusnegative.net/staynegative/o-and-rh-negative-blood-types-may-already-have-covid-19-antibodies/

Those four main blood groups—A, AB, B, and O—can be Rh-positive or Rh-negative, meaning that there are 8 blood groups in total. When the researchers looked at this second classification, there was further good news—people in any blood group which is Rh-negative are also “somewhat protected” from the virus.

“An Rh− status seemed protective against SARS-CoV-2 infection,” the study authors wrote. Additionally, “Rh− had a lower [adjusted relative risk] of severe COVID-19 illness or death.”
Those who are O-negative may be the least likely to get COVID.
If a patient was O-negative, they were particularly protected from the novel coronavirus, the authors noted. “Rh− blood type was protective against SARS-CoV-2 infection, especially for those who were O-negative,” they wrote.

“Joel Ray, MD, of St. Michael’s Hospital, suggested that people with these more resistant blood types may have already developed antibodies that can recognize certain aspects of the novel coronavirus and are therefore better prepared to fight it off”.

Well, I guess I'd better be extra careful the next few months.
