I think the 80-50 ka population in India harboured the Basal Eurasian.
India played also an important role in the 50 ka development or dispersal of microlithic technology.
These microlithic people were admixed with 55 ka Neanderthal DNA and were not Basal Eurasian.
Somehow the Basal Eurasian survived in some pockets and even expanded later.
