I found in the Alps two words, whereof at least one must be of a Semitic substrate, maybe both:

1. bĕroth (Aram.), burasu (Assyr.), bĕrosh (Hebr.) || breze, bremva, brenga, breyngon, brea (← *breda), brata, brin?ul, brin?ul, brondyon ("conifer, larch, fir, cembro");
2. bayt, bet || bait, baito, baita ("house").

I also found in the Alps 8 substrate roots which seem to be Uralic:

1. arr?c, rec (Alps) || arɜ, aro, aru, uri, urə, oraj, uraj (Ural) ("swamp", "brook")
2. ci?c, z?c, ?uchu‑, tsuγu, ts?k || Ćuća, ćȣŋka, ćukkɜ ćonga, ćoćańa, s?g, ćuk, čokka, čok ("rock");
3. cionco, ciomb, ciompo, ciump, ciung || Ć?nɜ, śin‑, ćin‑, ťĕn‑, szin(lőd)‑ ("faded", "stalk");
4. tsubaxh, tsogo, tsevar, ciupa || Ćuppɜ, ćipłeg, ćipi? ("wooden tub");
5. ciuttu, ciuttulu, ciotto, ciottolo, ciot || Ćutte, tjuhttā, čutta ("unhorned", "stump", "worned stone");
6. miskati, me?a, mo?a, muks || mȣńćɜ‑, mȣćɜ‑, mozogni, manćara, moďo?a, mozora, mootja ("move");
7. ??χ?, ?uka, ?oka || Ńȣkkɜ, nukka, nug, nyak ("back of the neck");
8. kerka, curruca, curcio, kerc’hez, crychyd, corra (Celtic) || korkɜ, kerkɜ, karkɜ, kereg, χuruχo, kirehč, kŏrək, kurki, kuorka, χaru, kara, kuro (Uralic) ("bird").

By which haplogroups (Y or mt) could these words have been brought into the Alps in ancient times?
