I'm new to DNA ancestry and I'm trying to find out about my ptDNA. Which is the haplogroup R1b>U106>DF98. Anyone else on here R1b>U106>DF98?

Is the person to talk to. He knows al about DF98 the kingscluster.
I have to use this tedious description as I am not allowed to place a link yet.

I would try going over to the U106 Discussion Group and ask your questions over there. Iain often posts on that forum and he’s an expert on U106.

Hi Greenman22!

Do you have deeper y chr test?

My Dobi cousin is the hungarian on this tree, and I managed his kit. id:YF18794

DF98>S18823>S22069>S22116>S22116*

But Iain is the best in this topic. I learned a lot from his study of King's Cluster.

Thank you!

Hello Greenman,

I’m glad to see you made it over to the U106 Group and I’ve enjoyed reading your thread over there.

One thing that occurred to me about possibly trying to get a further read on your Haplogroup, is the free tool that YSEQ offers. Where they’ll try to find your furthest branch using all of the available information in your 23&me raw data. It also has the benefit of being free. So there’s nothing really to lose.

All you need to do, is upload your 23&me raw data into the tool. You can check it out here:

Good luck, no matter what you decide to do!

P.S. Coincidentally, when I was growing up, I had a friend whose nickname was Greenman.
