    With Cato's Globi...

    They remind me of big trufoli. (With a little leavening included they might be delicious.)The series recreates ancient food, but since in this case the recipe is very simple, there's a lot of explanation of the Saturnalia itself. I can see why it made sense to place Christ's birth at that time.
