Faces I see every day in the streets of my village.

Can I ask, which Italian region is your village in?

Is the village Latial or was it settled from the Ravenna area and the Veneto?

People were brought in from these areas in the late 19th and early 20th centuries on Pontine lands reclaimed from swampland by the new government of the newly united Kingdom of Italy and later by Mussolini's regime.

You have to ask him for the details, I don't know if his village is one of them. It's roughly that area but they've been migrating there for generations now, mixing with the rest of the population who have also received other recent migrations from other parts of Italy. I find reconstructions useless, and often inaccurate with too much subjectivity on the part of who makes these reconstructions, anyway yes, I agree with him, they are all faces that you still see in Italy today.

The artist, Haroun Binous, has also recreated the faces of almost all Roman emperors from Augustus to Arcadius. Great job!
