I have a copy of my raw y-DNA file from LivingDNA and have been comparing the positively identified markers in that file against the E1b1b phylogenetic tree, I have P147 > P177 > M215 > M78 > L542 then seem to finish with CTS5856 after which no other markers on the tree appear in my y-DNA file at all.

However, instead of BY5527, I have got CTS5527 - same thing or not?

Is this lack of 'paired' markers ok or should I expect to find more 'pairs'?

Thanks

Interestingly...... "Found in haplogroup E1b on FTDNA tree. Believed coincident with CTS1273. Arose about 4,000 bce. Example is ancient DNA sample VK362 from 10th century Viking grave in Bogøvej, Langeland, Denmark." sourced from Genetichomeland.com, dna marker: PF2234" (CTS5856). The example happens to have the same mtDNA as me coincidentally.

So, if CTS5856 is my last (terminal?) marker, would that mean our common haplogroup has not mutated in the 1000 years between him and me - or have I got this utterly and completely wrong?
