What were the haplogroup of the ancient Greeks?
E1b1b and J1-J2 mostly Greeks of South and Middle Greece. Anatolian and Peninsular Greeks have higher J1-J2 but Greeks of Northern Greece and Macedonia have higher I2 than other Greeks.
I guess that R1 carriers of Ancient Greeks between %20-30 percentage. Peninsular Greeks have lesser it than other Greeks because their paternal origins descent from Pre-Greeks mostly.
Northern Greece and Macedonia: %25 I2, %25 R1, %10 J1-J2, %30 E1b1b, %5 G2a and %5 others.
Middle Greece: %15 I2, %20 R1, %20 J1-J2, %35 E1b1b, %5 G2a and %5 others.
South Greece: %10 I2, %20 R1, %30 J1-J2, %30 E1b1b, %5 G2a and %5 others.
Anatolian Greeks: %10 I2, %25 R1, %35 J1-J2, %15 E1b1b, %10 G2a and %5 others.
Its all my guess.
