Exclamation Worldometers data on early Covid cases

Either this is a mistake or some kind of shocking new data. Check what this Cases Timeline (worldwide) graph shows:

    https://www.worldometers.info/corona...rope-usa-cases

^ It claims that on 14 January 2020 there were worldwide 41 cases in China, 278 cases in Spain (!) and zero elsewhere.

Until now the official version I knew was that the first case in Spain was reported on 31 January 2020 (a German tourist).
