This map circled area is what "core"Han area,Which include former Chu kingdom, central plain, and east Northern Huai river people,They basicly include O-m117 of Chu kingdom,O-002611,in nothern Huai river people. They dont need to pay alot of taxes. This civilization first appeared at Jiahu culture 9000 years ago,They are millet farmers, different from southern viets,They are more bulky and fat than southern Chinese. They are the soul component of Han chinese, which I call it"core"Han.

This map is what of called Baiyue(colored) which Vietnamese ancestors from,Which compose by O1a and Han chinese immigrants,The taxes are heavy, most oppressed. They have very large population But Did not matter,Most of them have Baiyue MtDNA,which means They have baiyue mother.
Outside that ,There is very northern Han which is little part of what Han chinese composes,They are descendants of “core” Han,and also C-F1067,which is spread across Han chinese in small percentage.

The"core"Han was oppressed in pre-Qin dynasties,But They revolted,Took the power for themselves. They have little or nothing to do with Huaxia, which to Huaxia people seen as slaves who revolted and killed slave owner,And became slave owner themselves,They are mostly farmers, and has O-m122 southern origin. That explained why The genetic structure of Han chinese of today.
The surname of "core"Han area is combine of few clan names are most common in today Han chinese like:Liu(sanmiao origin),Li(Huaiyi origin),Xu(Huaiyi origin),Zhu(red),Zhang(archers),Wang(king) etc.The surnames are uncommon in Today's Han,are likely be original Huaxia surname.

That means the civilized, high GDP area like Guangdong,Fujian,Zhejiang etc included Shanghai,Did not matter. On the contrary,The area like North Jiangsu,South shandong, and Yunmeng lakes,Primal bandit society are the most important in Han chinese,The Huai river is equal important as Yellow river,Yangtze did not matter much.

The original "core"Han has different gods than Huaxia,God Taiyi the star and heaven ruler, different to Huaxia god shangdi, and also bunch of gods like Pangu the giant etc,O-m122 gods which they are,They have some sanmiao/Hmong elements also.
Later scholars wiped the ass by saying Taiyi=Shangdi, merge the two gods into one, which solved the problem.

The gourd worship:The Gourd worship is common in core Han,Hmong,Yi,Bai and people who are related to Han,The gourd Worship is likely derived from pregnant women worship which was common in prehistoric.

What then do you think about the claims that Han are a product of southwards colonization.

Han is central plain+Sanmiao+Huaiyi people,Its not very north, its not very south either.

The'core‘ Han basicly non-exist outside China,None exist in oversea Chinese,Europe, and America,Outer their Y is mostly O-m122,Their Mt-dna are heavy D4,mongolians origin,They intend to be lot Bulky and Fat than Southern chinese, first few Ming emperors are good examples. They have a low population,But most of the warlords, generals,in history are "core" Hans.

Here it says that Hans came from the north, besides northern minorities mtDNA is similar to northern Han, while Southern Han isn't.

Also, the Hengbei wite, which was the capital of the Zhou or Shang dinasty(I don't remember exactly), is north of the Yellow River.

Adding to that, other study about the Mogou site, suggests that O3 existed in near the Gansu corridor area, the corridor that connects to Xinjiang.

Han wasnt came from north, but south,You have m117 all over northern china in 6000years ago,The expansion is very very early, makes people think they are from north。
